Dingess/hartman V. Nicholson (2006)
Greetings I received a letter from the VA today that reads in part as follows:"The U.S. Court of Appeals Claims recently made a decision in the case of Dingess?Hartman v. Nicolson (2006). This decision requires that VA provide additional information about the evidence VA needs to make a decision on your disability compensation claim." This letter doesn't list a particular claimed disability...what is the VA asking me to provide. Do they want me to additional medical evidence or what????? Best Regards Chiefhouse B)

Military Sexual Trauma Counseling
VHA DIRECTIVE 2005-015 March 25, 2005 BACKGROUND Public Law (Pub. L.) 102-585 authorized the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide outreach and establish MST counseling and treatment programs for women veterans who experienced incidents of sexual trauma while on active duty. Pub. L. 103-452 authorized VA to provide MST counseling and treatment to men as well as women. Pub. Strange Letter Received
Hi, My husband received a letter from the VA today that says "We have received your application for benefits." blah blah blah....He already recieves benefits at 10% sc. He did go last week to a new Phyciatrist who (as I stated in an earleir post under CUE Claim?) said he was diagnosed wrong to start with..My question is...a dr. does not put in for an increase do they? Don't the vet have to do that? thanks, sbrewer

Had C&p Hearing And...
I was in the seat for 2 1/2 hours. I cant remember the last time I answered so many different questions. I felt like it went bad, my wife felt it went well..bottom line, decision in a few weeks, I wish all on the forum a good year,Thanks Mike..

Degenerative Arthritis Thoracic And Lumbar Spine
I saw a Private doctor yesterday and I hasked him if My degnerative Arthritis of the L spine and T spine is assoiciated with the Cerviical spine. He said that cervical arthritis can spread like a disease to the other spinal areas. I am SC for the Neck and I intend to file a claim,But I want to wait until the other claims are finished. Does anyone have any suggestions how to proceed, I have all the documentation ( Xrays and ECT Has anyone been SC fo both issues? Thanks

diabetes Voc Rehab
Does anyone know if a VETERAN can file a 1151 claim against the VOC. REHAB. program, in the refusal to buy a treadmill, that the ILS recommended for the veterans health, for losing weight, and help controlling his service-connected diabetes problems. My worker at voc rehab, said she would buy me a treadmill, if my VA Doctor would OK it, but he said that wasn't his job, that I needed a voc rehab doctor to do it, but the fargo va doesn't have one, so that was out, so I asked my voc rehab worker if the doctor who did the surgery on my back, ok it, would that be ok, she said yes, so he ok it, then she said there was conflicting reports as she said my doctor didn't ok, which …

Member Needs Help
I have been getting emails from VETNEEDSHELP@aol.com This is from Debbie and the veteran is Jimmy from the old board. They cannot get on board here- AOL is having problems with their email program. Question
I was just curious, if anyone had ever found anything in their c-file that Va says is a clerical error on their part. I found a 4 paragraph letter in my c-file a while back, dated November 19, 1984. It says: We need evidence that your service connected SKIN DISORDER has incresed in severity, in order to evaluate your claim for increased compensation. The trouble is my skin condition isn't service-connected, although if I remember right that is about the time, I file a claim for my skin condition, but was turned down, and I can't remember if I got this letter back then or not.
