Va Inspector General
I just fired off a Statement of case to the Regional office today concerning a claim that the RO had closed in 2004 without sending any information regarding to the closure of the case. It really fired me up. I see several posts on this site of people who have been scammed by the same malicious fraud. ( Cases that should be a slam dunk, however the RO's do everything to avoid giving a C@P to a veteran.) I am totally frustrated with the process and I have already contacted congress and not I want to contact the Inspector General. Has anyone ever contacted the IG and if so what were the results? John

Decision Receipts
I've heard decisions from the BVA are received on Fridays. Is this true or can they be received any day of the the week? I called the BVA last week for the status of my appeal and was told I should be receving a letter within the next week or two. No status. I'm a little anxious because I've been waiting six years now. Wondering if I'm going to go to Courts and wait another six years. Hope not!!! THANKS, WAYNE (LLEWELLYN)

tdiu Ssoc For Tdiu Help!
I would like opinions on a SSOC for my TDIU. Sample as follows: I am 70% service connected with 60% DMII therefore I meet the guidlines for application for TDIU. I recently transfered some of my statutory duties as elected Township Supervisor to the Township Clerk. My monthly wages are now $700.00 per month as of March 1, 2006. Clearly below Federal Poverty Guidlines. I am requesting TDIU and will continue the claim to get the benifits as deserved. Respectfully, TJS. Berta, et all, I would appreciate any suggestions as to the composition of this SSOC. Also it is now time to file for SSDI. Thanks and God Bless, Terry Sturgis

Are You Ready For Some Confusion, At Least The
Once an original claim, then a claim to reopen with new and material evidence, then a claim for reconsideration, mistaken for a reopened claim with new and material evidence, withdrawal of the mistaken claim to reopen with new and material evidence, then a submition of a CUE claim in its place, then having the CUE claim mistook for additional statement in support of a claim to reopen with new and material evidence. Then haveing the VARO rule on the mistaken claim to reopen with new and material evidence as nothing new and material to reopen claim to reopen with new and material evidence. Asked what happened to CUE claim and was informed of it being mistaken for additio…

What About Wrong Or Misspelled Medical Terms In The Va Denial?
Can anyone tell me whether any good would come out of NODing a denial for using wrong medical terms in the denial? It could be just an oversight (maybe misspelled--harmless?), but how am I to know what they were thinking or weighing if I don't read it as they wrote it? (rhetorical) Several errors like this are in his recent denial of all claims. This one is material to the VA decision: A claim was submitted for "a new heart condition due to over-anticoagulation causing a lung injury that stressed my heart, required hospitalization, and left this condition untreatable." The VA said they denied my claim for "a new heart condition due to overcoagulation [the opposite of …

Formal Claims Vs Informal Claims
I have filed several VA claims in My time dealing with the VA and I have found out that a formal claim filed with a 21-526 form gets more attention than an informatl claim used by the service officers. I know a claim is a claim, but I see a pattern. I have had 2 rapid C@P claims resulting from 21-526 Claims files. I have had exactly 0 C@P's for claims written out by service officers. HAs anyone noticed the same pattern??
