Opinion Of A Personality Disorder,
I've been trying to find a law, Regulation, Rule, or anything that says what is needed by a C&P examiner to prove a personality disorder, that which is used by the VA Claims Rater, to rebutt a prior diagnosis of a mental disorder CFR 4.127 (1973) Inpart reads; Formal psychometric tests are essential in the diagnosis of mental deficiency. If the VA C&P Examiner used such tests, why is his report silent on the matter or if he depended on the tests conducted while Veteran was hospitalized, why are the records in the C-File silent also? Personality disorder, inadequate type, with modest intellectual capabilities (despite the fact that he was tested during his …

ptsd Post Traumatic Stress Disorder And Vets Not Getting The Help They Need
Dear Friends, I was guided to this site by a member (Les in MN) who asked me to try to find BERTA, in hopes she could be of help to me and my family. Just three and a half weeks ago, we lost our beloved Josh, an Iraqi War Vet to PTSD....his memorial website is here: http://joshua-omvig.memory-of.com/ Since then we (his family) have researched full time to find out all we can about this disorder. We have spent countless hours on the net finding other Vets suffering, and families devestated like we are. There are SO MANY!! At this point, we've launched "The War Against PTSD" from Josh's website. There people can and are writing to their elected officials and…

Berta: I Keep Thinking Their Behavior In You Claim Is Criminal
Berta: I know this is just repeticious of what you are talking about, but I just cannot see how your VARO or BVA did not consider the following, knowing that they had the evidence which was in your favor and failed to take it into concideration and not bring this evidence to the attention of their Dr. providing a IMO of your claim. It appears to be an intentional act and theirby criminal neglagence on their part. [The Board must base its decisions on "all evidence and material of record," 38 U.S.C. ù 7104(a), and must provide a "written statement of [ its] findings and conclusions, and the reasons or bases for those findings and conclusions, on all material issues of…

diabetes Smr Lost In Fire!
Hello everyone. I need your expert advice once again. I have a friend from work that is very depressed and she was telling me why. She is married and has to care for her husband who is very ill as well as work ten hours a day to take care of the bills etc. As we were talking she kind of mentioned that he han't been right since he came back from Vietnam. All types of bells went off in my head! Her husband served in the Army as a ranger/special forces type of guy. She said that he has a lot of flashbacks of the POWs they went and rescued. She says he has sleepless nights due to seeing a fellow soldier brains blown away etc. One of his problems is he is in denial. He feel…

I.u. Question Help?
hello all , i'm new to the board and thank heaven there's such a site. i'm currently at 50% and applied for IU. i submitted documentation that shows living below the poverty level since 1996. i've not worked even half time since 1999. i submitted statements from previous employers that say i'm not employable. my question is: if i submit an appeal within one year and can get my outside physician to submit medical documentation that i am unemployable and even write that i'm unemployable will this help my claim tremendously. or is this a waste of time? i was denied an increase to when i was 20% for so long and finaly after getting a second opinion did VA …

ptsd Video Conference Offer
I was sent a video conference hearing schedule date on Feb 15. Recently Radiologist rescheduled the follow up on my back diagnosis for a date past the date of this conference. I also have an outside psychologist working with me for PTSD, but he has not acquired enough evidence for full diagnosis. Could this be a VA attempt to deny? Does anyone know about this video conference and how they work? That is how a decision is made from this conference, and does this conference conclude that no more evidence may be submitted? One more question. How does the video conference work? Do they ask question or do you tell your story as it happened with evidence?
