Shad
The Department of Defense (DoD) is providing this information, at the request of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), to assist the VA in providing healthcare services to qualified veterans and to assist veterans in establishing service connection for disability claims. The Deployment Health Support Directorate (DHSD) collected this information from multiple sources and requested that the military services declassify it to allow its public distribution. The VA accepts this information provided on location, dates, units and/or ships, and substances involved in this exercise, which DHSD extracted from classified DoD records, and will provide it to individual veter…

po2 us navy/navy reserve How To Do An Inquiry On An Appeal Decision For A Remand
It has been a year since the VA, sent me an Appeal Decision with a remand, instead of an up-front, and simple decision, and every time I call the 1-809-827-1000 number and request for an inquiry, regarding this situation, I keep getting the same run-around response. I have just about, lost all my patients, whenever, dealing with the VA and it's incompetence. Can someone please help me, I will provide my personally cell-phone number to any one who is willing to help a fellow vet. Thank-You.

If the results of this SHAD II study indicate a difference in outcome between the SHAD participants and the comparison population, or if the study finds new information that would warrant new research avenues, MFUA will be prepared to conduct additional research as appropriate. This study is sponsored by the U.S. Veterans Administration. Effective 6/10/2015, the study will conclude January 15, 2016.

So What It Next?
Any ideas as to where the Project 112/SHAD goes from here? The fact that the National Academies reviewed and updated its own findings is quite interesting. I believe their website says that are 85% funded by taxpayers dollars. There were several veterans in the meetings - any ideas as to their opinions as to where we should go in the future? Thanks for your service.

Lawsuit Was Ended Yesterday In San Francisco
Our case was about Moral Bankruptcy and anyone, other than the legal system, could see its validity. It appears we are not going to trial because most of the case has been disposed of in the attached judgment. We prevailed in the Duty to Warn issue, but will they faithfully follow-up? Today is my birthday and it is not a happy one. However, we all need to put this these issues aside now, as there can be no resolution, just bitterness, and that is not good for any of us so I advise that you let it go. I believe the plaintiffs did their best as did the lawyers in this uphill battle. Best Regards to all of you, Eric /////////////////////////////////////////////////…

Fort Greely Article From 1973 Interesting Read
I wanted to post this article and at least let some folks know about where Jerrel and I and some other members served. The year is 1973 and the first picture of the troops and the Arctic Test Center(ATC) was just about taken where the new Missile Defense command is now. Also the last photo of the article shows the Army Sm1a Nuclear Reactor in the left lower part. It is the cylinder looking silo style building. Just some part of the Project 112 program. Court Orders Va To Turn Over Data
VA Must Disclose Veteran Drug Test Documents Monday, July 23, 2012 (CN) - Veterans won another court order requiring the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to hand over more documents about its Cold War-era drug experiments on thousands of Vietnam veterans. U.S. Magistrate Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley in Oakland, Calif., said the document s requested were "squarely relevant" to the claim that the government failed to adequately notify veterans of the chemicals they were exposed to and what that exposure might do to their health. The Army and the CIA, with the help of Nazi scientists, used at least 7,800 veterans as human guinea pigs for testing the effects of up t…

Feres Doctrine...justice Scalia...protects Guinea Pigs Ops.
Is it clear what Congress opinion is on regarding the Feres Doctrine? -------------------------------------------------- http://www.nuclearfiles.org/menu/key-issue...-08.htm#seventh G. THE FERES DOCTRINE SHOULD NOT BE APPLIED FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL WHO ARE HARMED BY INAPPROPRIATE HUMAN EXPERIMENTATION WHEN INFORMED CONSENT HAS NOT BEEN GIVEN. The U.S. Supreme Court has interpreted the Feres Doctrine to mean that soldiers "injured in the course of activity incident to service" may not sue the Government for compensation. (Note 168) However, when inappropriate experimentation has resulted in suffering for military personnel, this interpretation stands in violatio…
