  2. Hello all, I know or think I know all about VA math BUT you guys tell me if this right: 60 heart 20 db2 10 PN right foot 10 PN left foot total=== Much appreciated, Stillhere
  3. Yes it is typed on his letter head with all the MD FACC TESTMUR NASPExAM whatever that means. If you have a feel this will not be good enough I can go back and see if he will "punch it up" as you say. Thanks, Stillhere
  4. Oldman as I promised here is the letter I just got from my cardio doc.Let me know what you or anybody else would like to add. do you think this is good to go?? Re: Me To whom it may concern: I am asked to provide documentation of disability for xxxx. He suffered a myocardial infarction in 2005 with emergency right artery stenting from an occluded right coronary artery. He went on to develop recurrent coronary disease with circumflex stenting in 2006. He has hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus and sleep apnea. He is mediated on Coreg,Losartin, Aspirin, Metformin and Plavix for his multiple cardiac factors and health conditions. He additionally carries a diagnosis of sleep apnea. It has been established that sleep disorder breathing such as sleep apnea is common in men with coronary artery disease and is associated with coronary artery disease. I would note that diabetes is a significant risk factor for conorary artery disease. I would note that diabetes mellitus has been identified as a deveolpmental condition following exposure to agent orange. The patient served in Vietnam 1969-1970 with exposure to Agent orange. On the basis of these notations of sleep apnea, coronary artery disease, diabetes mellitus and hypertension, I would suggest a thorough re-evaluation of his disability status. sincerly
  5. I was just wondering, is there any indication of the spraying of Agent orange being done at night?? Stillhere
  6. Hey Berta, Hope all is well with you. As I mentioned going to meet with my NEW VSO on Thursday the other guy retired I think. Anyhow when I called this time to meet with him he asked who was helping me with my claim I just told him some friends! Good luck with all your claimsand thank TBird for the Hadit! Stillhere
  7. I am in the process of getting all my ducks in a row for my sleep apnea claim. My cardio dr is supposed to be sending me a letter to connect the two and my diabetes 2. If you like I will post what he has to say when I get it. I also have a meeting set up with my VSO on Thursday I will again let you know if any thing comes out of it. I was diagnosed with Hypertension in 2005 and the sleep apnea in 2007 so should be interesting. The other thing is in talking with my VSO he recommended a buddy letter from someone that served with you and say about how you snore and always claimed you were tired during the day. Oh well hope this helps and good luck with your claim! Stillhere
  8. congrats Will. No go and enjoy the rest of your life, and thanks for your service! Stillhere
  9. I complete a survey for them about audiology and really gave them a piece of my mind! Maybe the best part! Do it if you feel like it but remember you are not required to. It is totally voluntery. I would not do it if I had a claim pending though! Stillhere
  10. Ron, That is a strange set of conditions,in my case once when I put in for an increase for my heart condition they denied it in Dec. but I had a heart attack in Oct. The info I sent had not got there in time. So I had to ask for a DRO review and sent in the new information and I was granted a full award in I think like 4 months. I never received a soc either but maybe you don't get those unless you file a NOD// Hmmm Hopes this helps some. stillhere
  11. I have to take all my papers and put them in the fileing cabinet then I push myself not to open them for at least a couple of weeks. My last claim for increase took from April till Dec. so I had to really stay away from it. I am meeting with my NEW VSO on Thursday of next week for a review of my last filing and a complete review of my c file for his recommnedations. I think one of the best recommnedation was to get a complete copy of the c file and keep it current! Stillhere
  12. I am also trying to get my sleep apnea connected to my gerd, and hypertension. My cardio dr called yesterday and is going to write a letter trying to connect it to the hpertension and cad. If you are interested I will post part of the letter. i am sc for dmii, cad,pn hypertension (but no rating) Stillhere
  13. Don't know why or where it came from, but I have a appt with my PCP on Monday and I plan on asking I will get back to you then. ~Stillhere~
  14. Hey Boats, I got the copy of the C&P on around the 10th of Jan. reguested it back in Nov I think. Gettting old with the memory. I thought they would address the anemia from the letter that they sent me but there is no mention in the C&P about it. I am thinking of bringing this up in a NOD. What do you think? Stillhere
  15. Anyone ever hear of hearing loss being granted as secondary to Diabete2? I did a google on this and quite a bit of info came up. Thanks, Stillhere
  16. Got the reply back on my claim and NO mention of the Anemia at all. Do I have to claim this as separate even though it was brought up by my last C&P? You would think they would just go a head and address it. Thanks, Stillhere
  17. Thanks I will give it a shot and let everyone know how I make out. Stillhere
  18. Thank you to all the replys seems I have been neglecting this way to long. Just recently having a dickens of a time hearing people and work and life in general is sufferring because of it. I think I will try first with an appointment with my VA audiologist and my PCP and see what they have to say. I will then go back to my outside audiologist and get some feedback and file. Now is the sticky part do I file new claim, reopen, reconsideration or is this possibly a CUE? Thanks for all the help, Stillhere
  19. Berta, No rateing for the hearing loss. I am 70% for other heart and diabetes stuff. Do you think it would be a benefit to take these into my present audiologist at VA or go to a private hearing doctor and get an opinion from then? This from an old denial in 84 that i did not appeal so I guess I would have to file a new claim or file as new evidence. Thanks for your input. Stillhere
  20. Berta, Just found the rateing decision form #21-6796 it says: SMR shows normal audiogram on preinduction PE. SMR is silent for complaint of hearing loss. SMR shows normal audiogram on seperation PE. VAE shows mild to severe HFHL on the right and mild to moderate on the left. Evidence of record shows that no hearing loss occurred during service. 6292 NSC VE Bilateral hearing loss. not sure what this all means but my separation exam clearly states that I have a high frequency haring loss and it is dated oct. 14,1970. Thanks for your help, Stillhere
  21. Berta, In 1984 when the VA tested me the test sheet said Bilateral sensorineural hearing loss, mild to severe on the right side and mild to moderate on the left. My separation exam says "hearing loss unilateral high frequency" dated Oct. 14, 1971 Thanks for your help, Stillhere
