  1. Yes, it came back service connected @ 0%. So, I filed a NOD. I requested a DRO Hearing. I pray and hope to receive this c-file, before my hearing, if I request it tomorrow!
  2. @Dot09 Thank you for the information. I will request my c-file tomorrow. I also have some of my SMR, but I wasn't sure whether it will be in my c-file and more of what I don't have! I've heard some information goes MIA.
  3. @Tbird Thank you so much! I really appreciate that and looking forward to reading some more interesting claims. @Buck52 I really hoped that I didn't offend anyone by asking about a particular forum. Yes, you are absolutely 100% correct about we're all veterans here. I guess that I was under the impression that if I had something more on a personal inquiry that there was a place to go, other than the main forums. But, you've answered it quite well for me. Thanks! @Tbird once more! If I received some treatments/medications in the military for uterine fibroids that gave me numerous problems...even tests, dilation and curettage (D&C), consultations. Will all this information be in my C-file?
  4. Hi Berta, Still quite new to this awesome site, but trying my best to absorb all that I've read. Can someone direct/refer/grant me access to the "Females Forum" please! Thank you for your help!
  5. @Buck52 Just wanted to express how articulate that article was. Even though, the author kept emphasis on his personal experience/knowledge (it was still helpful), it was very informative and has a sense of understanding the process a little better! Thanks for the share!
  6. Hola! Tbird, yes indeed! Vync and yourself, have given me ammunition to "lock and load" my claims. The link that you provided, in reference to the BVA Appeals, has numerous cases of pertinent information that I surely will take heed to. I've started reading some and to my surprise, am very impressed. I actually, can almost mimic certain guidelines that will help, as well! Now, to continue research the information and compare my records should be positive. I know it will be an uphill battle, but I'm prepared to experience it all over, once again...as I did, when my unit use to climb those mountains in Korea with a 100lbs rucksack on our backs...lol. Anyway, thank you both for your diligence in offering some insight to get me started. I really appreciate you both for that and I will continue to update this forum, as I'm showered with results. Hooraaaaa!!!
  7. WOW!!! That was quick! Anyway, thank you for welcoming me, as well as, the feedback. I really appreciate the information from you Vync and will take my time and go through my STR with a fine-tooth comb. I'm quite sure there's information that I can use, simply because I can recall going for treatment, while in the service for a fibroid condition. During my tenure in 1985, I loss a child due to the condition and was told prior to that at Beaumont Army Medical Hospital that the doctor was going to do a D&C to correct that, but it never happened, so basically, after the loss of my child, I continue to suffer with the fibroids until March 1999. This is when the gynecologist that I was seeing at the time, realized that I needed the hysterectomy. Thank you once again!
  8. Hi, new to this site! Would you please let me know your outcome? I'm in the process of filing pretty much the same as yours. Definitely, can appreciate any input, whether good or bad! Thank you in advance!
