  1. Ride them @broncovet! Great news! Ride that stubborn bull until the legs fall off!!!
  2. I received the first SOC today. The DRO awarded me 10% for migraines from September 2013 to June 2017, and 30% onward. The Statement of the Case also said that my Conversion Disorder was also awarded but will be mailed separate. Hopefully, I'll get that tomorrow or the next day. Will keep you all posted!
  3. Thank you for getting back to me @Gastone! Yes, I originally filed for Migraines and Conversion Disorder in September 2014. The VA awarded me service connect for Migraines at 0% and denied the Conversion Disorder. So, on July 14, 2015 I filed an appeal for a higher rating for migraines and to be service connected for the Conversion Disorder with New & Material Evidence (IMOs) for both (this is the appeal showing date 8/4/2015). On July 28, 2015 I'd submitted several new claims: Pes Planus, Hysterectomy (Fibroids) and Cervical Radiculopathy. June 1, 2016 the VA service connected my Pes Planus at 30%, Hallux Valgus (bunions left and right foot) 0%, Partial Hysterectomy 0% with SMC K, and denied the Cervical Radiculopathy. On July 18, 2016 I filed an appeal for the Cervical Radiculopathy with New & Material Evidence (IMO/IME) (this is the appeal showing date 8/12/2016). So basically, at this point I'm only getting 30% income. I did some research about chronic pain, depression and anxiety due to my service connected Migraines and Pes Planus. So, in February 2017 I filed a new claim for secondary issues of Depression and Anxiety due to chronic pain. I had the VA rheumatologist to do a DBQ to which I submitted. The VA sent me for a QTC exam around May 16th and by the end of May, they granted me 70% for depression (MDD) for secondary issues. I stand at 80% currently! P.S. Both appeals are DRO Reviews!
  4. I logged on to ebennie today and saw the following. I'm not familiar with the SOC, but I don't want to jump to conclusions too fast. Anyway, since I didn't understand this, I'd decided to call 1-800-Peggy, to which the guy said that my SOC were mailed out on November 14th for both appeals. He couldn't give me much info about it. My question is...are all SOCs denials?
  5. @SergeantQ, Glad to hear this! You're absolutely right, shouldn't take that much longer! After my exam with the QTC for a psychological exam...it only took 2 weeks to get approved and 4 days to get paid afterwards.
  6. @SergeantQ, You're very welcome! Actually, I'm still fighting. I have two NODs that's waiting to be reviewed by DRO. One was submitted 8/15/2015 and the other one was 8/21/2016. I use to be on pins and needles about waiting, but that has all changed due to reading other threads about the timeline for a decision. I've found a hobby and commits myself diligently to not focus so much on those appeals. I guess you can say that I've matured a little in that essence...lol.
  7. @SergeantQ, Alrighty then (Hooraaaa)! Glad to hear you're scheduled much sooner than later. Actually, this may be the diamond in the rough (good to go but need some polish) that will get you over the hump. So far, all of my experiences with QTCs have been favorable upon me, so I'm hoping and praying for the same for you. Good Luck Bud!
  8. @Tbird, thank you so much! I'd really missed these topics and threads. Always would read through the late night hours that I have insomnia. #DidNotMeanToHijackThisThread
  9. @SergeantQ, It may seem rough right now, but hang in there! There is light at the end of the tunnel. Although I'm quite a freshman still, but it will be interesting to read the reply to your question of being granted, and now going for another exam! Whewwwww!!!
  10. Have anyone had the opportunity to read this article? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://taskandpurpose.com/vets-may-now-able-get-higher-disability-ratings-service-connected-injuries/amp/&ved=0ahUKEwjq56ubq43XAhXG7SYKHUhZBNsQyM8BCFMwBA&usg=AOvVaw1NIdKDnBGB2gJ7Q0CmKw3I&ampcf=1
  11. Hi @Troop51, I went to my ADJ Hearing on August 9, 2017. I'd also submitted the DBQ that my VA Psych filled out which was requested by DDS/SSA. I was sent to a psychological exam on August 22, and the physical exam on September 30. I was told by my lawyer that the judge that saw me, always send his claimants for a Consultative Examination (CE), which is weird to me... because if you have documented evidence by the treating physician in reference to your claim that THEY requested, why would you turn around and send them for an outside examination as well? Don't make sense to me! But, the judge sent me a letter a few days ago saying that he'd included the results INTO record. My lawyer also said, she went into the system to read what the outside psych doctor had written and it was in my favor. Frankly, I'm still not at eased until I get it in black and white saying, either "approved or fully favor!" Meanwhile, it took my hearing an hour and a half because the judge was so inquisitive upon me, as well as, my lawyer. I was on pins and needles which didn't help my anxiety not one bit. Your situation, on the other hand, may go much smoother and shorter. Reason I'm saying that...the young lady that went in before me were in there for only 15 minutes. Good Luck! And I hope this was helpful... •Still Waiting On Results...Any Day Now!
  12. CONGRATULATIONS Sergeant Q!!! WOW! It took me forever to find the NEW community.hadit.com. Reasons unbeknownst to me. I bought a new phone and uploaded all my original programs and when I tried to upload this forum...it would go blank! But I'M BACK!!!
  13. Congratulations!!! Success is a great feeling...Enjoy!
  14. Thanks for that knowledge @broncovet! I'm ready for it...Perseverance is my middle name! LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!
  15. Thank you for the words of encouragement @Jimmer!
  16. Received $4588 in retro for 4 months effective 1 Mar 17, today. Hopefully, the DRO will review my 2 appeals soon. Thanks to everyone whom took the time out of their busy schedule and had given me a congratulatory shoutout for the WIN on my claim. I really appreciate that. WE'RE IN IT TO WIN IT
  17. Thank you @Tbird! I actually was soooo nervous typing that my Topic was misspelled... lol. I knew it should've been "LO AND BEHOLD" but didn't know where to go to edit it. I feel great! Thanks to all the input that I'd received from the awesome Hadit members and their scenarios! Yayyyy!
  18. I'm literally in tears as I write this... Previously, I was rated at 30 percent for Pes Planus with other contentions rated at service connected 0%. I'd filed my claim on Feb 16, 2017 for Major Depression (MD). Went to my C&P exam given by QTC on June 9, 2017. A week later on June 17, 2017 my claim appeared in Under Review. On July 6, 2017 my claim moved to Preparation for Decision and by noon it was at Pending Decision Approval and by evening it was at Preparation for Notification with estimated completion on July 7 - July 9, 2017. I logged on this morning and "LO AND BEHOLD" they had given me a 70% rating for my depression. TYJ!!!
  19. Moved to Preparation For Notification today 7/6/2017 with Estimated Completion 7/7/2017-7/9/2017.
  20. Thank you @broncovet, Yes, I've responded to the February letter. What had happened was not knowing, I submitted that claim as a FDC and they (VA) sent me a letter explaining that it did not qualify for a FDC due to already having an appeal going on. So I can understand those principles. I can relate to not counting on Ebennie but easy said than done...lol. Especially, when you know how these riff-raffs can screw you over so badly. I guess that's all the more I shouldn't even log on...lol. Honestly, I've seen certain movements through Ebennie that were due diligence and accurate but I still put my best foot forward and keep on moving. I know I've been through this before but it gets to be repetitive at times either due to my mental state at the time or curiosity, either way I know it's not healthy though. I'll try to do better! :)
  21. Thank you @Gastone, Attached are the initial dates. The overall time is over 600 days combined for both NODs. I should've said that in the first posting. I was scheduled for a DRO hearing back in Oct 2016 for both but VA called my POA a week before the hearing and told them to tell me that NO hearing was needed. Two weeks ago, I called 1-800 to inquire about the DRO reviews and they told me that it had finally made it to his desk and that's all they can say. Truly, I'm somewhat still trying to grasp how things work. I was fortunate to get a 30% rating for Pes Planus when I did because of the strong evidence that were noted in STR, so I submitted the claim myself. After receiving the denials for numerous contentions that I felt had undeniable evidence as well, it was taking a toll on my health trying to do the research and gathering the needed material to pursue with no help, so I'd appointed a POA. I've never heard of an "Informal Evidence Conference" until now. Also, I'm very concern with the DRO Review holdup! This is why I've constantly called 1-800 to see where they're at with it. Meanwhile, what else can I do at this point?
  22. On February 17, 2017 I'd filed for Chronic Pain Symptoms Disorder which falls under Mental Health. I completed a C&P exam on June 9, 2017 that was given by a Psychiatrist at QTC. Today, my claim moved to Preparation For Decision with estimation of completion 7/20/17-8/20/17. I'm hoping for the best as always, but also know that it can go either way. Hopefully, it won't be too long! Also, I have 2 appeals (both DRO Review) that have been on-going for over 600 days and still counting.
