  1. After several C&P exams, this has been one of the best thus far! The QTC Psychiatrist was very thorough, meticulous, methodical and careful with the meeting. He went on to say that, he do not understand why the VA hasn't rated me before now because my records fully distinguish a mental health condition and that he's going to make sure they're definitely aware NOW! He also said that he sees between 25-75 veterans monthly on mental health issues and that the VA got to do better! If I didn't know better myself, I almost thought I was the psych and he was the patient. Either way, I felt real good after I left there.???
  2. Hello All, Well...the wait is over! I'm scheduled for a Mental Health C&P exam given by QTC Management on June 9, 2017 at 12:00pm. I was also told that this exam will contain a General exam as well. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Will let you all know how it went.
  3. Well, I checked ebennie today and they've extended the date once again to read 06/24/2017.
  4. Congratulations!!! Enjoy the fruition that was diligently due!
  5. Thanks comrades! @katnboo2, thank you for the insightful information and like @broncovet said, quick worrying and fretting (will do!)...lol. Oh well, guess I'll continue to play with my granddaughter's "fidget spinner" which would be an understatement to say that it's about to drive me FIDGET, FRICKING, FRANKLY crazy! And yes, it's for an increase and already on it. Tune-up checklist complete! Thanks you both!
  6. Hello All, I have a claim that shows "Need From Others" Va Facility, according to Ebennie, which I've read that it means the Va is trying to schedule a C&P exam. Back in March, the VA supposedly was to schedule me a C&P exam between March 1-31, to no avail. So they extend the date to April 30, to no avail. Then, it was extended again until May 18, to no avail. Can someone please tell me WTH is going on?
  7. Soooo happy for you, @Navy4life! Continue to enjoy your well deserved win. I live in Florida as well. A small place that use to be called "Cypress Gardens" but has been renamed as "Leggo Land." Currently, I'm still waiting on my DRO hearing results. Trying to remain optimistic and hopeful. Anyway, I really miss your input on these threads because they're very informative. However, life goes on. Enjoy yours to the fullest and take care dear!!!
  8. Congratulations @chomperjones! You deserve it comrade! Enjoy!!!
  9. Congratulations @flores97, I'm very happy for you! It has been a tiresome and long arduous battle for you, but you hung in there and reaped what is diligently due. Great Job and Enjoy!!!
  10. Congratulations On Your Success!
  11. Hi Comrades, Would someone please give their insights on what they think about the following IMO: Sorry for the longevity of it and thank you!
  12. You're absolutely 100% correct! Must not regret any of it!
  13. Hypothetically speaking...with knowing anything could possibly go wrong, i.e.; the test tube was contaminated ?, the tester switched it out ?, erroneous labeling ?, or even from the good ole meds ⛑? being prescribed...either way, we're doomed! Just Kidding! ???? Did I practice for this? Lol...not in my zombie state of mind!
  14. Congratulations!!! Job Well Done! Enjoy!!!
  15. Okkkkkkkk!!! Got That Right! And compassionate, thorough and vet-friendly. Maybe in the next life perhaps!
  16. Thank you @Berta, @Gastone! We're having breakfast at IHOP as I typed this. She's quite shaken and unsure, but I told her what's done is done. We're all unsure of our outcomes until we are presented with that letter. I have documentation (past and current emergency room treatments from outside hospitals because the VAMC is over 50 miles) that wasn't submitted with the original claim, as well as lay statements, pictures of prosthetic devices that I have to use. When I receive my C-File which took about 10 months, I went over it with a fine-tooth comb and realized that I have some documents pertaining to certain contentions that were not in the C-File (very strange). Another thing, when I was stationed in Hawaii, I kept passing out either in the shower, formation or at work due to the sexual harassment from my platoon sergeant and subordinates. I was hospitalized at Tripler AMC for conversion disorder. The doctor from Tripler referred me to Schofield Barracks Psych. I went for about 10 months on a weekly basis. The Psychs all said that I had "Conversion/Adjustment Disorder/Sexual Harassment." I can't find no Psych records at all, but in several documents of my STR, it is noted that I seen the Psych, so where are these records? Hmmmmm!
  17. Congratulations @Navy4life!!! You put up a good, hard fight and won the battle. Truly happy for your success...Enjoy! ?????
  18. WOW!!! Cost of Living Adjustment...lol! What A Joke! Basically, We're Worth More Dead To Them Than Alive!
  19. Hi Everyone! This is quite a madness if I've ever heard of one! My friend of 40 years called me today and told me this. Granted, my DRO Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, October 27, 2016 @ 1:00pm. On the other hand, her DRO Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26, 2016 @ 10:00am. My point is...I do not have representation and feel at this time, there's no need unless the DRO do not grant me my contentions. She has an attorney. So today, she called me to say that her attorney called her this morning and said there will be no DRO Hearing on Wednesday as previously scheduled. That they (attorney) was going to submit an IMO/IME to VA. And that it wouldn't take long for them to make a decision. I was floored!!! Have you ever heard of such? This is very mindblogging to me and I really don't have or know any answers to tell her.
  20. @Buck52 After researching, I've read PROs and CONs in reference to using VA Form 21-4138. Please help me! Would it be better to have handwritten lay statements which will be notarized or the above-mentioned form? My spouse and parents have written their statements on white bonded paper. Are these suffice to use, as long as I get them notarized? Thanks!
  21. @Buck52 Didn't realize that you've already answered about the informal or formal in your earlier post. Man ole man, do I really need to get someone to check this lappy out! Just flat out missed those comments.
