  1. @Buck52 I'm truly hoping that this will be the case where the DRO will afford me another C&P exam. However, if he/she doesn't...I can only hope that they'll see, as well as, me telling them about that examiner was contradictory with proof. So what type of hearing, informal or formal? I requested formal and hope it was a good choice! Anyway, that was great to get expedited so quickly. I've read on this site somewhere that a formal can take up to 12 months or longer. Well, I keep my fingers crossed in hopes of a speedy and positive results! Just like you said earlier, I should be able to pick up whether they're veteran friendly within 5 minutes, hopefully. Don't know if it's a good sign or not, but I do feel determined with a great mindset right now. Hopefully, this will last through the hearing too! :)
  2. @Buck52 This is truly sad that after I've written my reply, it wouldn't post. So I had to screenshot it! ???
  3. Thank you for responding @Gastone! Hmmmm, now that I've seen the word biased, I really don't think it would make me feel better to present. Just was a thought since I had them. The answer to have I supplied the DRO with extremely compelling New & Material Evidence...Yes, I have! And hopefully, he/she will be able to decipher how I've arranged it to be readable and comprehensible. Thanks!
  4. Hi Everyone! Thought I'd let you all know that I'm scheduled for a DRO Hearing on October, 27 2016 at 1:00p.m. I've taken my time and reviewed all my documents and trying my best to stay positive. Is it too late to take a spousal and parents statement with me to give to the DRO? If not too late, do you think it's a good ideal to present them or not? Also, are there a certain way that it has to be written? I'm really not familiar with any protocol on statements. I'd have to say that I'm a little proud of myself because I took the time and advice of Hadit's pioneers and organized, and labeled all of the New and Material Evidence. I'd hope that I'm able to present it as well as it looks...lol. Anyway, you all have a blessed evening/night! Thank you!
  5. I'll have to agree with Buck52! Both are well presented and informative, but Page B seems easier to navigate!
  6. Even though I'm not at a 100% rated...I filed my claims in July 2015, I completed my C&P exams on May 19, 2016. I received my approval for 30% on June 1, 2016. A couple weeks later, I received a small retro and my monthly pay started July 1, 2016. I hope this help!
  7. @broncovet, this truly saddens me to read threads of veterans what seems as an abyss! This is entirely too long for anyone to endure with, to include pain and suffering, as well as the bureaucracy. I guess I'll continue to live and learn. Continue to fight with every ounce of breath Broncovet! Your boat will soon dock! High-five to you for your perseverance. @Buck52, apology accepted! You are well knowledgable of the in's and out's. I love to read your input on any given day! Please continue to enlighten us on this arduous journey. Thank you very much!
  8. Hi Everyone! Recently, I filed a NOD for cervical radiculopathy due to a denial. Periodically, I'll check Ebennie. Well, today I've noticed the cervical radiculopathy was listed and had "REP" in the action type. What does that mean? Will they eventually send me for a C&P exam? What am I up against? Thank you for any input! Hooo-aaah!!!
  9. Good Evening Fellow Comrades! I've recently filed a NOD for several contentions that were rated service-connect with a 0%. According to the letter that I received today, the VA received my written disagreement on June 2, 2016 (I thought that was rather quick). Can someone please read over it and give me some insight to what the letter actually mean? Thank you to everyone who uses their time and knowledge helping us!
  10. You're 100% correct @Buck52, I received my letter as well for my foot brace and hand grip device. I took it to VAMC Prosthetics Department and they entered the information from that letter into the system and gave me those items. REACH ONE TO TEACH ONE
  11. @GuaymasJim, I took a screenshot of the email letter:
  12. Hi Everyone, Would like know if anyone else received an email from VA conducting a survey of recent Compensation & Pension Examination? Well, today I received one and when I say that I spoke my mind...I did just that! (a) Several questions were pertaining to how the staff treated me. (b) Several questions were pertaining to the cleanliness of the lounge, restroom and examination room. (c) Several questions were pertaining to how much confidence did I have in the examiner. (d) Several questions were pertaining to how I felt about the rating results. (e) Several questions were pertaining to if I wasn't pleased with the results...am I going to file a NOD? (f) Some questions ask what do you think would help the VA in making better decisions. At the very end was a comment box where you could basically write a story and I did. They did stipulate that to not use any personal health issues or any identifiable information of anyone. REACH ONE TO TEACH ONE
  13. Lmboooo @Andyman73, I'm in the process of writing my disagreement. Definitely will include that issue of being examined, by which I think was truly unqualified and so on the hysterectomy, because of her opinion stated the "con" and the rationale stated the "pro" seems like a conflict of interest to me! Yes, there is a difference! Having a bunion can cause excruciating pain in the big toe, inflammation and swelling around the base, the bunion causes the big toe to leaned inward towards the second toe causing it to become deformed. You may experience some arthritis, but mine didn't show up on the X-ray. It also causes your foot to be wide making it difficult to find wide enough shoes. As you know, the joint at the base of the big toe carries much of your weight while walking, so it can cause extreme and constant pain. My bunions protrude about half of an inch outwardly from the big toe. It looks like a big knot on the side of my foot. Granted, arthritis isn't nothing to play with. Which you experience stiffness and pain. It get worse as you age. I think seeing the bunions physically can cause an unsettling feeling altogether. Arthritis is still debilitating as well. Their both are something that I wouldn't wish upon no one! Hadit is the new frontier. There's no other like it! Very informative and veteran friendly. Have meet some articulate, smart, caring and loving people here.
  14. Hiya @Andyman73, I had the opportunity to look over the rating chart. In my opinion, if I get the bunions removed, they'll be 10% each. Had a X-ray done during the C&P exam (no Arthur!) In my SMR, there is notation when I went on sick-call after a long, arduous road march and the tech wrote down that I had two enormous bumps sticking from my feet...lol. Although, they did show up on the X-ray. I was so confused when she examined me, I was like - a gyno during my feet??? This was a first! Most times, they would do from shoulder to thigh (if you get my drift) lol. Sometimes they hurt soooo bad, I think they're twins (boy and girl)...lol. You are too funny! We have to insert a little humor now and then! It's not good to stay mad all the time! We get mad at the doctors, VA, examiners and the pain. We might as well come to this platform with a smile or at least, attempt to smile. There's no need to take it out on Hadit, after all, they're here to help!
  15. Mercy!!! It's so sad how they finagle us, the veterans and all that's rightfully due to us. I hope you receive your due and everything else that you're not only entitled, but deserve!
  16. How is it that if I filed in 15 claiming disability and after time and time, going on Ebennie before the actual exams. They already had effective date 3/18/16? The cervical radiculopathy and adjustment disorder, I didn't have a C&P examination on those two. But, hysterectomy and foot was done by the same doctor on 5/11/16.
  17. Right! I got you! I'll wait on the mail carrier!
  18. Here's a screenshot of those contentions:
  19. @Andyman73, I believe you are correct! I will take a look at the rating chart. Thanks! @broncovet, I originally submitted my claim on 7/28/15, but Ebennie has on all the contentions effective date 3/18/16.
  20. Hi Everyone! @Andyman73, yes! I received treatments for all and continue to receive treatment. @broncovet, my effective date is 3/18/16. Therefore, I'm still good right? We have a year to file a NOD, is that correct? Anyway, I'm gathering new and material evidence as well. Also, since filing, I'm still being treated for the remaining four. I was blown away with the hysterectomy decision and considering filing a reconsideration on that one, due to I feel the examiner checked the wrong box in error. Isn't the opinion and rationale supposed to coincide? They awarded me SMC(K-1) as well. Just my opinion, but I'm still at awe due to them rating me service connect - 0% for the hysterectomy and SMC, but couldn't give me a reasonable rating. Oh well...as they say! Back to the drawing board to sketch out my next move!
  21. Hello Everyone! Went On Ebennie First Thing This Morning And The Following Is What I Found: 1. Hysterectomy - Service Connect - 0% 2. Cervical Radiculopathy - Not Service Connect 3. Left Foot - Hallux Valgus (bunion) - Service Connect - 0% 4. Right Foot - Hallux Valgus (bunion) - Service Connect - 0% 5. Pes Planus - Service Connect - 30% I Hear NODs Calling My Name! Thank You To All For Your Candid Advices, I Will Keep Everyone Updated As Time Allows. I Also Will Send Some Funds When All Said And Done! Hoooraaaaaaaa!!! REACH ONE TO TEACH ONE
  22. Hi Everyone! Would Like To Say Happy Memorial Day To My Fellow Comrades And All The Fallen Veterans For Paying The Ultimate Price Of Life! I Went On Ebennie Friday, May 27, 2016 And Seen Where My Claim Went To PDA. I Originally Filed For Three (3) Contentions: hysterectomy, bilateral foot condition and cervical radiculopathy. I received both C&P examinations on May 13, 2016 for hysterectomy and bilateral foot condition, but have not received one for the cervical radiculopathy. Have there ever been a situation where the rater may possibly rate the cervical radiculopathy along with the other two, if I have sufficient evidence in my records?
  23. I really appreciate this guys!!! Have a blessed and prosperous Sunday!
  24. @Palma114 Do you know where I can get this information from or who may be able to point me in that direction? Thanks!!!
