  1. Thank you all for acknowledging my rating! @Berta, you are a true example of exemplary tactical maneuvering. I've often would browse and read your comments about your experiences with VA. You actually beat them at their own game! Some are afforded the opportunity to fight, but what they're put through, actually takes the fight out of them. I have the upmost respect for you and others, whom paved the way for us lightweights to acquire success. Last year was an unfortunate year for me unlike no other whereas, losing both of my parents and sibling within a month's time and keeping up with different C&P exams, researching up to my brain capacity and being hospitalized half of that year, but I was determined to fight against all odds even it was last thing I'd did. So, with saying all of that...keep doing your best to continue your journey as a mentor, moderator and innovator. Individuals like yourself definitely make a difference in this world. Peace and Love, PP
  2. Hello all my fellow comrades, Even through my sicknesses and illnesses physically and mentally, I'd stilled persevered. There were times that I'd surely wanted to give up, and I'd felt like that's what they wanted! We are warriors on the battlefield, off the battlefield and amongst life. Never, ever QUIT!!! The fight has just begun and the war isn't over! Keep your head up, and maintain integrity. I would like to thank everyone for their awesome input with helping me to obtain such a rating. There were times that I'd needed to be away from this forum due to extenuating circumstances that needed my attention and of course, literally was boggled down doing research to strengthen my claims. Once again, thank you all and l'll definitely be paying it forward, to include a donation to this great platform. The following are my results as of today, June 22, 2020.
  3. Hi All, Its been a minute since the last time I was here due to being consumed physically and mentally from the losses of both my parents and a sibling in 2019 although, I'd make a debut the other day to let you all know that I am well. I am very grateful to be doing so much better. Could someone please explain to me what this letter means from the VBA that I'd received today? Everything was remanded, which it's my first time going through an appeal process. Thank you for any input in this matter!
  4. Congratulations!!! Job Well Done!
  5. Awesome!!! Glad You Was Able To Prevail! Such Great News To Hear/Read About Success.
  6. @MarkInTexas, that's great news! The fight for myself and others will continue! Enjoy every moment and spend it wisely. Definitely not in one place...spread the wealth...lol.
  7. Thank you all for the great information! @L, will it be ok to obtain this letter myself from HR and submit it through ebennie once I receive it? Thank you for your input!
  8. Hi All, Thank you all once again for helping us through these hurdles and hoops when it comes to our claims. My question is...do you think that I have a chance of getting TDIU if I file with contentions of: PTSD 70%, Migraines 30%, and Pes Planus 30%? Also, I was awarded in December 2017 SSDI solely for PTSD. I haven't worked since November 1, 2011. Thanks in advance for any information. Do you think I should open an Intent to file as well?
  9. Thank you both and looking forward to 2018! Have a Prosperous New Year Guys!
  10. This Will Work! Must File For Student Loan Forgiveness Very Soon!
  11. Hi all, Hope everyone had a splendid Christmas and looking forward to the New Year! I'm officially a 90% member now! Thanks to everyone who were helpful in me obtaining this increase due to being rated 30% for migraines.
  12. @Navy04, Thank You! Yes, it was a struggle. But I kept telling myself what doesn't kill me only will make me stronger!
  13. Yes, we are @Hamslice! Thank you very much!
  14. Thank you @Tbird! Yes...3 years of anxiety has changed to a pleasant sigh. And to think that the ALJ had given me such a hard time. I actually thought he was going to disapprove my claim. Even with all the hard evidence. I mean he literally asked me like twenty-five questions and then he drilled my attorney on top of that. My hearing lasted approximately one hour and a half. But it's over now. Thank GOD!
  15. Actually didn't know where to post but thought it was alright here!
  16. Hello All, Can someone please help me to understand what is going on! I had two appeals going. One was from Aug 2015 and the other was Aug 2016. Well, it shows on Ebennie that both appeals were decided by the DRO on November 15th. Appeal number one (2015) - increase for 0% Migraines and service connect Conversion Disorder Appeal number two (2016) - service connect Cervical Radiculopathy On November 17th, I received a SOC stating the DRO had awarded me 10% migraines from September 2013 to June 2017 and 30% respectively. The SOC also mentioned: "Entitlement to an increased for migraine headache disability, and service connection for depressive disorder for the period September 26, 2013 to February 15, 2017 was awarded in the rating decision dated November 15, 2017. You will receive separate correspondence regarding that decision." So, after receiving this SOC, a few days later I called 800-Peggy and a guy said, he would mailed the other SOC. OK, after a couple of weeks not receiving anything, I called them again on December 5th and another guy said, "it was mailed out on November 27th and should receive Saturday, Dec 9th. But, he was wrong because I see on my screen that these issues are in Preparation for Notification." So today, I called and another guy said, "You're have to understand that the VA combined these issues (migraines, conversion disorder and cervical radiculopathy) together. How can they combine these issues? My conversion disorder has nothing to do with my headaches, but rather my depression and the cervical radiculopathy is from pain of neuropathy throughout my neck, shoulders, arms, fingers and hands. Can they do this? I did some research and each one mentioned nothing about headaches as symptoms. Are did they make them secondary to the migraines? I understand that nothing is concrete until I get the BBE/BWE, so why haven't I received a decision letter along with the SOC or is the SOC actually the decision letter. At this point I'm clueless and frustrated!
  17. I had the opportunity to read such a disturbing and distasteful long ardous article. Very chilling I might add!
  18. AWESOME Story, Alex! You did a superb job with your representation. You're The Man!!!
  19. No decision yet @Troop51! Called my lawyer about three weeks ago and she said, the judge could take 6 months to a year to hand down his decision. My fiance had his hearing on April 17, 2017 and received his fully favorable decision in June and received his first check on July 1st. I had my hearing on August 9th and it's now the end of November. I guess it depends on the judge! P.S. His judge has a 89% approval rate and mine has a 56% approval rate. Go Figure!:(:(:(
