  1. @Mark D Worthen PsyD Lol...too funny! Anyway, I will take your advice and begin searching for a new VSO. Like I said, this is all new to me and can use any information that will help. By the way, she probably was on crack???! She kept trying to show me the computer screen of different records about my claim, as if she needed my approval or something. This can only make you wonder about the competence of these examiners and how it seems to not matter to the VA. I can only imagine how hard and rigid its been for the veterans that have put up a good fight. I'm just getting started and feel the need to throw the towel in from this episode...lol. I give many props to all whom hung in there for the duration and succeeded. I salute them! @Palma114 Thank you for chiming in with such good advice! This definitely makes me feel not alone. WOW...can't help but to think that there's something wrong with that picture. Simply, because if that many C&P examinations are being denied, who checks the VA on these numbers? I really wonder what's the ratio of granted verses denials? If it's anything like the past news of how certain veterans are treated at these VAMC, one could surely have assumptions of their treatments in the administrative welfare pertaining to claims.
  2. Thank you @Gastone @TALON II FE, You both are absolutely right! Yes, I will calm myself down and let it run its course! I will definitely review VA Lawyer Chris Attig's posts and try to get myself more acquainted with other case studies, as well as his expertise. Also, thank you for referencing about 38 CFR 4. I know now that there's a lot to stay abreast. I think with me feeling deserted by the VSO has a lot to do with my attitude, disposition and feeling some kind of way. I will take both of your advices and standfast. You guys have been so helpful during these long arduous trials. Thank you all for your candid support!
  3. Hi @Mark D Worthen PsyD, Thank you so much for having a look at my C&P results. Yes, I see exactly what you're referring to, perhaps the examiner may have checked the wrong box. The phrase that have, "the condition claimed was less likely than not" seems to be an embedded format of words that were already there. To answer your question about the female sexual arousal...that was all of it. It didn't have neither a section of yes or no, nor to write a summary. As you can see, it was a full page with no break. My VSO initiated my claims, but after filing...I am basically on my own! He never return my calls, or texts. I make copies of documents to drop off to him while at the hospital and he's never in his office. So, for the most part, I'll either mail him a copy or place underneath his door/dropbox. Which he still doesn't contact me about nothing! Basically, I feel at this point...if there's a denial, all I can do to help my situation would be to hire an attorney. Still quite clueless to everything, but I'm trying my best to absorb as much as I can. P.S. I thought she was a gynecologist too! But her post-nominal initials are PA-C. So, I realize that she's a Physician Assistant that's Certified. When she examined my feet, on the DBQ...there was a question on the 7th screenshot top portion asking, "was an opinion requested for the condition (internal VA only)? She answered, Yes! This leads me to think that she had to get another opinion, right? P.P.S. If the rater is confused, will they get back in contact with her to clarify her statements? Thanks once again!
  4. Hi Everyone! This Is By Far Confusing To Me. How Does One Come Up With Less Than Likely...When The Evidence Is There? The Following Are Results From My C&P Examinations! Please Give Your Insights As To What You Think. Sorry For The Inconvenience, Had To Screenshot The Results. Thanks! So, Where I'm Very Confused Pertaining To Hysterectomy Is: I Gave The Examiner Multiple Documents Of My Uterine Fibroids, And She Had The Computer Screen Opened Where She Showed Me, Other Documents Of The Fibroids. But Yet, She Answered...Was The Veteran's VA Claim File Reviewed? She Said No! Also, The Rationale Portion Noted Fibroids Uterine/Recurrent Pelvic Cramps Were Documented While In Service. Duhhhh!!!
  5. Hi @jfrei, It Was For A Hysterectomy And Bilateral Foot. I Went In HealthEVet And No DBQ's Results Are Showing. I Would Have Loved To Seen What The Examiner Wrote. Maybe It Will Show Up By The End Of The Week. I Really Hope So, Cause I'm About To Go Nuts Here...LOL
  6. Good Day Everyone! I Just Checked E-Bennie And My Claims Have Moved From Gathering Of Evidence To Preparation For Decision With An Estimated Completion of June 2 - June 26, 2016. I Had My C&P Done Friday On May 13, 2016. Seems Mighty Quick! Hope This Is Not A Sign Of Negativity! Reach One To Teach One
  7. @Navy4life I've been following your threads for awhile now and feel the need to give my sympathy for your situation. It seems as though, every time you'd get your head above water...something tries to pull you down. Well, I would like to say, keep treading the water with your head held high, and take deep breaths and continue to move forward. I really hope the best for you and do whatever it is that will help your situation. You've come too far to look back now. Good luck in everything!
  8. Exactly!!! I have problems even getting hydrocodone at this point!
  9. @pete992 You have a point! Some of the threads I've read do mentioned about having a nurse practitioner as their examiner. Thanks!
  10. @TALON II FE Thank you once again for your reply! The ole' saying, "patience is a virtue!" I hope this is true! Because these are very trying times right now and I do know that I'm not alone. Talon...we might be on the same ledge with that one! I will keep that in mind about it being the key though...lol. Thanks!!!
  11. @Hamslice Thank so much for the information! I will wait and see what the outcome will be. I guess I thought that was very odd to have a gynecologist to do my foot exam...that's all! Anyway, if that's the case of the end results being low-balled, then I will pursue it.
  12. I have been DXed for cervical radiculopathy through VA as well. I had a MRI done and it showed bulging discs at C4-C5, C5-C6 and protrusion at C7. I'm currently enrolled in the Pain Management Program. I've been through Physical Therapy at the VA , given a TENS unit, heating pad, given a device grip to pickup things with, a back scratcher and a device to help me put my socks and shoes on too! VA also out-sourced more treatments at a place called Select Physical Therapy, which I went there for four months. Recently finished there in mid-April. I constantly experience tingling, numbness, stiffness and stabbing pains in my fingers, hands, arms, neck, shoulders, legs, feet, toes and chest pains. I have numerous SMRs of treatments for these problems. I often will drop things from lack of feeling. I take numerous medications which does nothing for these ailments. I filed my claims for Hysterectomy, bilateral foot and cervical radiculopathy on March 18, 2016. Today, I went for a C&P for Hysterectomy and bilateral foot. Hopefully, soon I will receive order to report for a C&P for the cervical radiculopathy any day now. I will keep everyone updated with as much information as I receive it. Reach One To Teach One
  13. @TALON II FE Thank you! I will remain optimistic, even though both examinations went expeditiously, I was able to feed my records to her and seen where she would enter pertinent information from those records. So, I will keep my fingers crossed, in hopes of receiving something positive. But, if not positive, I will be challenging the opposition of the examiner's position. Personally, I felt good afterwards!
  14. Hi Everyone! Thought I Would Let You All Know How My Day Went At My Compensation & Pension Examinations! Well, A Little At Awed...Simply, Because I Was Scheduled For Two Examinations And They Crammed Them Together! How Does A Gynecologist Perform A Hysterectomy Examination For About 30 Minutes...Then Turn Around And Perform A Bilateral Foot Examination For Another 15 Minutes As Well! Who Does That?????? All I Can Say At This Point Is...We Will See What My DBQs Says! Reach One To Teach One
  15. @Jerrel OK!!! Understood now! Thank you once again!
  16. @pete992 Thank you for that input! Yes, I'm currently diagnosed with residuals. I have medical records that would substantiate in-service treatments for the condition. I have a nexus letter that I'd recently received from the doctor that performed the hysterectomy. So, I should be good to go with that! @Tbird Exactly, this fit my situation to a Tee! Plus, I have numerous medical records of so many entries of treatments for uterine fibroids. To include, the medical records from William Beaumont Army Medical Center who performed the D&C in hopes of eradicating the fibroids, but they eventually came back while in service (I have those records). Then...while stationed at Scofield Barracks, HI...I became pregnant and experienced a miscarriage due to several fibroids that were in my fallopian tubes that caused a blockage for the embryo to grow (I have those records). @Jerrel So basically, I need to print out this form? At the very bottom it has a denote; saying do not give to the examiner.......keep as records! Where I'm confused at is, why print and keep for records. Do I fill-in this form from information that the examiner will discuss or should I have them fill it out? I really appreciate everything that you guys are doing for me. Nothing is taking in vain and will apply all my learnings from this awesome site in hopes of prevailing. Thanks a mil... Reach One To Teach One
  17. Sorry, having problems with this IPad...lol
  18. I would like to give a scenario update. I'm scheduled tomorrow, May 13, 2016 @ 1:00pm for a Compensation & Pension examination for hysterectomy residuals at the Gynecology Department - Lake Baldwin VAMC in Orlando/Winter Park, Florida. I'm also scheduled for a C&P examination for Bilateral Foot conditions at the Podiatrist Department at 2:00pm tomorrow as well. I filed for my c-file which to no avail. Should I bring with me what little medical records that I have in my possession pertaining to the post-hysterectomy and records in my SMR for excessive bleeding, cramps, fibroids (notes, as well as diagrams showing the location), D&C (dilation & curettage) procedure and records of having a spontaneous abortion (miscarriage) due to the fibroids while in service, and any bilateral foot treatments too? I know this seems like a last minute notice, but they called me at 9:30am this morning to schedule. Any information from you all knowledgeable and awesome comrades would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! Reach One To Teach One

prettypantha - make sure you have copies of anything you give them. i am not sure if they will accept them, not an expert there. you should post this a question in the va claims forum so you can get more views.

Can you tell me how your claim ended up for your post service hysterectomy?

  20. @Dot09 Thank you very much for the information. @broncovet I understand and points well taken. I will get this ball moving. Thank you!
  21. @Tbird Yes, it was wrong! Had I known what I know now, it would've turned out differently, I can't change what has happened, but I can move forward and live my life. Thank you as well for the links and I'm going to do some thorough research and gather what's pertinent in making a case. I really appreciate you all very much! This is such an awesome site!!! Hooraaaa!!!
  22. @Buck52 Thank you very much and we're good...lol. I really appreciate that you all takes the time out of your schedules to reply back to veterans' concerns. This definitely makes a difference in ones life! It also provides a platform where we can air out our laundry, which in itself is therapy for most. Like I said earlier, I do a lot of browsing and now, I'm feeling very comfortable to open up. I will follow through on the information you've provided.
  23. Thank you very much! My point exactly! For what I've endured in the military and what was recorded. Right now...I only have 1/3 of my records. I believe that I posted something pertaining to this a few months ago. After going through those episodes with them and nothing being done. Once I got out, I had to have a total. But, during my time, one doctor told me that I wouldn't never have any more kids because of the fibroids (did he write that down?). I already had one child prior to service from a rape. When I went into the military, I was faced with MST (not physically) but, my supervisor would harassed me saying things like, "Women are meant for one thing and we don't need women in leadership positions" He also turned my squad against me and told them to give me a hard time. Long story short, they kept transferring me to different units because of my complaints. But, I'll cross that bridge when I need to. My whole thing is, I submitted all that I had when I first filed my claim. This was the information about bleeding, cramping and the diagram, but they came back with 0%. So, this is where I'm confused. If I went through all of that, do they have those complaints that I filed and why I was transferred, because this would lead me to think that I could possibly file for MST. Moreover, my main stream of concern is the 0% rating with the little that I've submitted. Do they have records of my complaints? Do they have records of me sitting in with the psychiatrist telling my story. I really believe this information would be helpful! Thanks!!!
  24. I received some information from my branch of service, but some information is missing. The reason that I say this is...during my tenure in service, I had numerous problems with fibroids, but the only records that they sent me contains information, i.e.; excessive bleeding, cramps (stomach and pelvic) and a diagram showing where they are located. Therefore, I'm hoping the c-file has the hospital and records of the D&C that was done, as well as, notes, medications and so on!
