  1. just recieved 0% rating for allergic rhinitis, I was under the impression I would get an explanation of why 0% was given( i didn't get any reason). I also have mild sleep apne& headaches, can that be presumptive to my allergic rhinitis? Would appreciate if anyone could give some insight. tHANKS!
  2. Recieved 0 percent rating for Rhinitis, i have claims for headaches and sleep apnea being reviewed , what are my chances of getting a favorable rating on these 2 symptoms? I haven't filed for Gastric (ULCER DUE TO TAKING PAIN RELIEVERS FOR OVER 30 YRS.) yet.

  4. HI BLAHSAYSME2U!  I HAVE A QUESTION,  I RECIEVED NEXUS LETTER STATING THAT MY RHINITIS WA LIKELY CAUSED BY FUEL VAPOR EXPOSURE OVER A 4 YR. PERIOD, I ALSO FILED CLAIMS FOR HEADACHES,SLEEP APNEA.  I HAD A HEARING WITH V A  IN AUGUST, THE JUDGE STATED HE COULD RULE ON HEADACHES ,RHINITIS,BUT SLEEP APNEA WOULD BE REMANDED BACK TO V A. JUST WANTED TO KNOW HOW DOES MY CHANCES FOR PRESUMPTIVE LOOK  ?

Ileft ACTIVE DUTY IN 1990. My case for Sleep APnea was remanded by VA judge, currently waiting on decision from Judge on Rhinitis and Headaches.

  7. HAD A HEARING  AND JUDGE STATED THAT MY SLEEP APNEA WILL BE REMANDED BACK TO VA, BUT HE WILL MAKE THE RULING ON MY RHINITIS (NEXUS LETTER WAS INCLUDED),AND ALSO ON MY MIGRAINES. WHAT'S THE AVERAGE WAIT ON AMENDED CASE IF KNOWN?

  8. HAS ANYONE HAD THEIR CASE  REMANDED BACK TO  VA BY A JUDGE?  WHAT  WAS YOUR AVERAGE WAIT TIME ON DECISION?  THANKS FOR RESPONSE.

You should post your questions in one of the main forums, you would get more responses. The average time of a remand is around 6 (six) months to a year depending on how complicated your remanded issues are and how many issues are on remand.

  10. Have any Petro. Supply Specialist out there been approved disability compensation for Sinusitis, headaches, sleep apnea, and gastric issues? I have been dealing with these issues for over 30 yrs, my claims were denied ,but my Appeal has been in the loop for 26 months." Still suffering and waiting!" To all my fellow Veteran's , Thank's for your Service , God Bless us All,and Good luck Forward!"
  11. Hi!  I  would like to know  what my chances for getting S C  for Sinusitis, headaches, sleep apnea claim.  While in Basic Training I was hospitalized for Acute Respiratory Disease(possible meningitis), later  after reaching my permanent party unit , I suffered nose bleeds, sore throat, headaches, sinus congestion(all in my medical records) after working  as a Petro . Supply Specialist. I was constantly exposed to fumes, vehicle exhaust,  and being splashed with fuel at times throughout my duties. I have had 3 operations related to Sinus condition, continue to suffer from headaches, diagnosed with sleep apnea 2 yrs. ago  after having these problems going back to 8/1986. My  former civilian ENT would not give me a Nexus for the sinus condition , he stated i needed to see a Pulmonary Specialist(which proved to be false).I have applied for SC,  and hired an VA accredited Attorney.

I submitted a claim about 5 months ago and it just went into the  Preparation for Notification phase (mailing out a decision within days). But a day after that notification, I received an email scheduling me for a C&P exam perform by the QTC exam people  that the VA contracts. I wonder what up? My claim is about one step of being closed, and they want me to see a C&P now?

  12. Hi All!  Just asking, has anyone had any success using RAMP? I have received 2 notices from VA in reference to my Appeals. THANKS!

  13. Good Day!  I filed for compensation for sinusitis(allergies, headaches),sleep apnea, for lower back in  2016 only to be  denied. When I applied I had military &civilian medical records  that i wanted to be submitted but the VSO told me it wasn't necessary( that the VA would already have evidence needed) to support the claim. While in basic training in 03/86 i was hospitalized for acute respiratory disease(possible meningitus) with meninditus symptoms( military medical records), i have been having headaches    since then.I was a Petro. Supply Spec.  I was treated several times during service for upper respiratory problems(nose bleeds, sore throat, headaches, stuffy nose) from 1986-88. I was exposed to diesel exhaust, gas vapors, dust. I  have 3 surgeries due to my allergies, issued CPAP by VA,9can't use CPAP because sinus situation so bad), i also have developed gastro. disease i2 years ago(haven't filed for). What do you think chances are for getting compensation for service connection? I hired an Accredited Attorney. 1 1problem-can't get statement from ex wife about snoring back in 87-90. , Ihave statement  from parent"s about nose bleeds and snoring.

  14. Thank"s for the supporting info, I have been dealing with headaches(2 episodes every month for the past 32 yrs),sinus (allergy)condition, lower respiratory infections every 4 yrs or so,diagnosed with sleep apnea 2 yrs ago.I GAD TEST DONE BY V A pulmonary(test were good), but had a couple over the year's from current employer 's physical exam showing slight decrease in lung function.I have document from active duty showing when i was seen for the headaches, sore throat, stuffy nose),also when i was hospitalized for acute respiratory disease(possible meningitis it also stated on the medical record).I also spoke with V A Environmental about my exposure to fuel ,and exhaust vapors(he blew off and told me to contact my primary physician and that they only are with Iraq&Afghan veterans who were exposed to pit burning .There are a lot of thing"s I'm finding about now after all the year's of being out of the military, I hired an Attorney last year to help with my appeal.
