yes BroncoVet--many thanks to hadit.com , I was very worried along this whole trail-y'all made it bearable. Thank you. And as long as my body, mind and sould hold out and with God's grace I am finally set. 15 years of waiting ? I was at 60% but went to 100% retro back for 15 years. Already have a dental appt scheduled with VA as well-what a relief !
I know as well or better than anyone it is hell-but hang in there

ace-I cant explain how this feels I spent 15 years on AD and then 15 for this (I was getting 60%). I would say hang in there in---its not easy---, the easy thing is to see why people quit, die, get worse etc.
I wish the best for you and everyone, I hope you get yours soon and I get paid soon. Hope your boat has a motor seems mine had nothing but oars for years.

Just printed out my letters I am 100% permanent --dating back to march  2004. 15 Years of 100% retro owed-60% which I was getting. Got my letter for BX and Commissary Card and monthly amount of pay. Not paid yet but the wheels are finally clicking.

Yes, they will subtract whatever the difference is. So if you had received 1,000 per month from 2000 to 2010 and then they say you should have been recieving say, 2000 a month from 2000 to 2010. you'll get 120 months * (2000 - 1000) = 120,000.

I am new to forum and to posting so please bare with me.
I had a BVA decision grant me 70% for adjustment disorder, they also granted TDUI back to March 3 2004.
This was a month and a half ago, I asked via chat the VA what was my status there reply BVA Grant pending. What does this mean calculating ? Pending what ?
Ebenefits shows nothing new. I am confused.

I'm not sure. I actually went from 70% to the real 100% P&T. The IU rating is just now finished. 

Your records will show 90% paid at the 100% rate due to IU.

Congratulations, hope you do not have to wait too long for the grant.

Still waiting on the letter but the RO said I should receive it soon days/week maybe definitely before Dec 1st disability payment since Ebenefits already reflects the new rating so its safe to assume the letter is being sent as well as processing of the retro payment. 

thanks vet quest. Here is the real kicker everything I claimed I was treated for medically while on active duty (85-99). So for this to take going on 15 years ? I know they are 2 completely different fish but I have been on SSDI since 2003 ?.
Oh well you said it correctly, now each day seems an eternity. The sooner the better for many reasons.

By the time I see anything it will be 15 years close to/or more than. My grant is pretty simple it appears as it gives dates  for effective date. Unreal and frustrating for sure. Thanks all inputs help.
 

I understand your anxiety.  Once I was given IU I had to wait until my remand was finished before I was paid.  It seems like a cruel joke that we know we have won only to wait months for the result.  You waited five years longer that I did and after that time several months seems an eternity.  It is time now to find another hobby, the time spent fighting your case now needs to be spent somewhere else.  A hobby helps ease your mind.  Good luck and let us know when your case is completed.

Part of this problem is that the BVA has more lawyers now than ever and BVA is working faster than the ROs are.
Still it is quite frustrating! Many of us have been through this waiting game.
The 800# is often useless. IRIS can give a better status (sometimes)

just wanted to update the group on my status, since 11/11 (Veteran's Day) my Ebenefits shows the updated claim for service-connection for PTSD. My appeal is now finalized and awaiting the letter along with retro pay. This is the very last step in the entire process and can honestly say the relief of not having to constantly check Ebenefits or call the VA is like a huge weight off of my shoulders. To all of you still waiting, be strong and hang in there the end is near and to those just getting started fight for what you deserve and don't give up. 

Rag ft myers, I would inform your lawyer and ask his advice.  He can contact the BVA directly if he feels this is a eminent situation.  Find out what he advises.

If the RO was any slower. They'd be going backwards.  All they have to do in my case is calc backpay to a date teh BVA judge set and figurout lawyer fee. They started on 10-24 and estimate it'll be done by 01-19-2019... Just another hurry up and wait game.

Do you have a terminal or possibly terminal condition?  You can request that your case be expedited if so.  Please see the following document.

Rag ft myers, it can take a while for a grant of backpay.  Depending on the amount there may have to be multiple signatures.  Unfortunately it is another several revolutions of the hamster wheel before you get your check.  As someone reported on another thread they have been waiting eight months for their grant.  We are at the mercy of the VA even after we win our claims.
