  1. Bonzi great news. That letter is the best feeling in the world except the birth of your children and the ride on that freedom bird back home. Enjoy yourself for awhile and i know the grandbaby will keep you busy the rest of the time.
  2. This subject is confussing to me. I had 90% and was awarded IU which means i am getting paid for 100%.I have been told i was qualified and been told i am not.Can some tell me for sure? Can i buy the policy and if so how much will it cost me? I am talking about the 10thousand dollar policy .Before i got IU i was listening to someone in my group who told me I would qualified for the 10 thousand free. Truse or false.

  8. Way to go my friend.Well deserved,i know the felling of waiting on the mail.I was so nervous i had to let my wife open mine.Enjoy the moment.
  9. I want you guys and gals to know how hard I pray for you each and everyday. Like cowgirl i had to get mine at 10% or 20% at a time. I started in 2000. The hardest part was the waiting while the bills kept piling up.If it was not for you guys on this HADIT .com i would have gave up.Keep on helping and helping all you can. we never know how many you are helping that are just reading. Thanks again for all the help. IT kinda makes me feel guilty to have gotten mine so fast when you guys have been waiting so long. The GOD of my undrestanding all ways shows up right in time.
  10. Put my sucess story in wrong place i think. So excited, been wating so long i do not know what i did.I think it is in IU claims. sorry
  11. IT says WE granted entitlement to the 100% rate effective September 11, 2008, because you are unable to work due to your service-connected disabilities. No examination will be scheduled in the future. Thank GOD, thank everyone of you who helped me on here. When you sign on here and read enough forums you will find so many caring veterans who will help and enc ourage you right when you need it. thanks to everyone of you. I filed on May 8 2009 and did not get any %increase but was granted IU P&T with assistance under 38 U.S.C. chapter35 which my son will benefit greatly.THEY going to back pay back to sept 08 When i got my rating for PTSD and Hearing loss. like Jessie said the other day WHAAAA WHOOOOOOOOOOOO
  12. CONGRATULATIONS---great news. That gives me alot of hope. I read on here from a lot of veterans that if you do not stay on top of your claim some times things will go over the heads of your helpers, ( VSO, LAWYERS) Go out and celebrate big if your are able.
  13. Thanks Pete. I think i was rolling in alittle of self pitty.I have so much to be gratefull for. I have really been blessed in my life.We as vets are all miricals to still be on this earth an d to have served our country in what ever way we did. Mako25 I wish you the best on your claims and everyone else whos tempers and paitence has a short fuse like mine.
  14. I called 1800 the lady was nice. she told me the decision was made last tues. and went to supervisor to sign. They would generate a letter and send me. I am just wanting to know what decision was made.I am hoping if i were denied they would not have to send it to be signed,or is that just wishfull thinking? This whole process is driving me frigging crazy. My PTSD has trippled since i have tryed to get help for it. I have no patience what so ever
  15. HEY clown thats a good one. my nieces and nephews would have to use another name their UNCLE HARVEY does not have all his money yet.Any sujestings? Maybe uncle Clown. just having fun.
  16. I called the 1-800-827-1000 this morning. I was told that my claim was at the review board to see if all my information was there. She said they have a goal of AUG 7 09 to have it finish and then it would be sent to ratings board. Now i have never heard of them having a goal for anything. Thats a new one, but from the past claims i have filed i do not believe anything they tell me untill i get the letter. It is still encourageing to call some times to get some relief from all the stress of waiting so long.
  17. I made a mistake. i am 50% PTSD.Sorry.
  18. When i filed for IU i had to go for a C&P for everything i had a SC for. I went to 5 C&Ps.I had just recieved 90% PTSD and 20% for hearing loss in feb 09,But still had to go for other C&Ps all over again 2 weeks ago.I went to a medical dr. for 3 of them.IT took two hours. I went for PTSD exam again and a hearing exam.now i am waiting for the results with my fingers crossed.Good luck with your claim.THE veterans on here are great. they can walk you though it like they did me.
  19. YEA, this is what bothers me is the surgeries. My last employer put this in just to try and screw things up i believe.Sometimes it seems as everybody is against you. I guess i will try to sit back and see what the RO will do. I have had all my C&PS for this claim, now comes the hard part is to WAIT.
  20. I just came back from my hearing exam today. The lady wanted to know why they sent me for another one. I was just awarded 10% tin. and 20% hearing loss this past feb. When i told her they sent me because i have filed for IU she must have had a ruff night. she said when you file for IU you have to have a C&P for every SC you have. I did not have the audio test; Just ask me a couple of questions on how my hearing loss effected my last job and said she was going to help me as much as possible. The exam on my DMII went as.FUNCTIONAL IMPAIRMENT:because of his peripheral neuropathy of both lower extremities, the veteran cannot do digging in the ground, lifting, carrying, as well as moving heavy objects. So, the veteran's peripheral neuropathy of both extremities has impact on his physical job. The veteran also reports that prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting aggravate his tingling and numbness as well as burning of foot. So, the veteran's peripheral neuropathy of both lower extremities has impact on his sedentary employment. So I guess what I want to know is - - does this sound like I should be permanently and totally disabled - - along with my psychiatric exam ?
