  1. I have paranoid schizophrenia, i am currently on a number of medications, but the ones that are causiung the side effects are the resperidol, and saphris, i also take paxil and xanax, but i am sure these aren't the cause. I currently have arm and leg movements happen that i dont want to, i have ticks, crazy stuff. My fingers will tap themselves without me doing it, ill wake up and my fingers are tapping on my chest, im like WTF. That one kinda freaks me out, other stuff is just like spasms, but for my to tap my fingers without wanting to is just crazy, anyways i dont know exactly what this would be called diagnosed as, maybe tardive dyskinesia. anyways can i get SC'ed for this
  2. yes and no, the visit to the ER you can get the medical records simply by calling for the hospital and requesting patient records and giving them your info, you might have to mail your signature in, as for teh appointment in FL, i doubt there will be anything, but like i said contact that center and ask for your records
  3. i have applied for a discharge upgrade, and filed paperwork with board of military corrections, i got an other than honorable for going awol, however i was crazy at the time i went
  4. read it however if you were insane at teh time you commited the acts you are eligible, which i was
  5. Letter from the VA said my discharge was not honorable and to explain...already sent in 4 letters explaining it, but still got this, had the choice of requesting a hearing, so i did, not gonna take any chances, only thing that sux is this is gonna add months onto my claim and initial decision, lets just hope its for 100%
  6. man hate to see it take that long, had a friend at the hawaii VARO get 10% in two months
  7. Bubble as long as you got the 24 continuous active duty, VA has to see you, granted your discharge is honorable, thats a crock of shit what they told you ask to speak to someone higher, and now that you are service connected for paranoid Schizophrenia, that just even more so lets you not need anything else to recieve care, go in there and get your benefits you earned them... BTW i am a paranoid schizophrenic, still trying to recieve benefits, how long did it take, and what was your evidence PS. Dont work or theyll drop you down to 70 percent which is like 1500 bucks
  8. saying they are still processing my claim and appologizing for the delay this is like the 10th one ive gotten, i will be calling my congressman soon
  9. damn can't believe no one has responded to you, talk to your VSO like american legion or Disabled american vets they can help you, or contact a VA attorney
  10. VA said i was married never was, but claimed they had my marriage certificate, then told me they didn't recieve my records, when the other ones in the same envelope were there...asked to see my c file, they said no
  11. yeah would like to know more about that, do they really need a c&P for this if its documented
  12. try iris, which is the va's webs system, or the 1800 number, work pretty well for me
  13. hmm, sounds like i dont need this form, thought i did oh well thanks guys
  14. this was from chicago VARO? wish mine went that fast congrats
  15. thanks, tried the last two days to find it, called the VA they never heard of it, well at least the guy on the phone, can't find it on their website, but i find lots of documents reffering to it
  16. pete how do you have a hearing with the rater, can you do this before you get a decision, as i have only sent in my app 4 months ago with no decision, but would definately like to talk face to face with the person rating me
  17. yeah they told me because i didnt meet the two year rule and the OTH discharge
  18. Doesn't look too good, no progress notes from inpatient stay, no notes about my delusions, on one mental health eval, and the last one only states psychosis, not paranoid schizophrenia which is what my claim is for, although it does go to say i have paranoid thoughts, So all records i have so far state psychosis, with paranoia, but the only paranoid schizophrenia dx, i have is from a well known hospital in chicago, where my gafs were at 10 and 20, so i guess im going to need a very good nexus letter, claim doesn't look good anymore, not sure what kind of dis. percent, i can get with just psychosis. i never told the docs about my suicidal homocidal thoughts because i didn't want to go to the hospital now thats coming to bite me in the ass, any thoughts....thanks hula
  19. Yeah i never got a letter saying that i might be barred from benefits, or to send any type of information on my AWOL, or character of service, I did it on my own so i am assuming im good to go, because if it wasn't adequate im sure i would have gotten that letter, What is PIES, does it contain anymore information than the National Personnel Records center, cause i got my full file from them, just worried about something popping up in another system that i dont know about. Thank you very much for this information it was very helpfull and gave me a piece of mind, i might make a trip to my VAMC tomorrow, and demand benefits for a disease incurred in service, , i dont know, i know ive got a bar because i was in deserter status, but i was crazy, so it shouldnt count, but try telling this a government worker
  20. i have sent in the email forms stating my situation, now its time for a phone call, a little hesitant about it, but maybe tomorrow
