The thing about the SSRI's is that it may not make you limp but will inhibit orgasm in men and women. You can be hard as a rock for an hour and still not have an orgasm. Frustrating to the male ,but perhaps a boon to the wife as long as she is not on it as well.

Funny but fun.........but when you try to sleep it's something else. I get like that and am no medicines of that sort just stomach meds right now. It can be quit embarrising at time but then you learn to laugh about it and enjoy the hell out of our body.

da_nang69, I'll go back and read all the fine print. I hope the benefits outweigh any potential side affects.That's the risk we all take on a daily basis. Just don't forget to live, learn and laugh. I don't know much about her but I'm thinking about buying Dr Laura Schlesinger's book "Stop Whining and Start Living." Saw her on 700 Club and she seems to be able to bridge theology and psychology to some degree. Best to All.

Good for you, Liz, I believe you have located the right meds. We know that it certainly isn't for that personality thing.

I just started taking this drug at 37.5 mg and I am having bad side effects from it, I doubt if I can keep taking it. The psy doc said I would probably have problems since I have to many dump trucks at my serotonin recep sites.

Bad as I feel after taking this drug I think I'll keep my dump trucks.

Please watch your blood pressure, I've been in the ER x3 because of it.

The med really works, but we had to lower the dose because of the side effects.
