luvHIM
How does it feel to finally be able to EXHALE?! WOW...All I can say is YOU GO GIRL!! Oddly enough, I was talking with a phone rep at the 1-800# and she indicated that my claim (THE ONE ON APPEAL) was being considered back to 1979 (date I was initially awarded my SC...but at 0%). Not sure how to digest that. Honestly, I really didn't take what she said to heart because I never know what the VA is really doing and neither do the phone reps half the time. Anyway, back to you...AWESOME! I don't really know what else to say. I am just real happy for you. Continued success!

HadIt.com Elder Josephine Posted March 15, 2008 Author HadIt.com Elder Share Posted March 15, 2008 (edited) Betty Like I said this is the biggest win and the most valid vindication I have ever been been even remotely invovled in since I have posted at Hadit. It is not just the money but the validation and vidication. What do you think was the main factor that pushed the VA over the edge to do justice? Usually, the longer the injustice the more they stick to the crime against the veteran. There have been big wins here at Hadit but this tops them all I think. Keep us informed of all your progress. We are all proud of you and give "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow". Someone at the VA has a brain and a heart. I did not think that institution had an ounce of justice in them. You had a strong case or they would not have granted it. John What do you think was the main factor that pushed the VA over the edge to do justice? John, I became so sick of the BVA and the AMC not reading the evidence. They were picking and choosing. I finally became so discusted I sit down and tore that SOC of October 7, 2004 apart. I put together the puzzle for them. One DRO started a well thought out plan to deny me, when I turned in those" Psychiatric Records." They knew if I proved the claim, they would have to re-open all the earlier claims, as these were military department Records. I went to Chaper 38 and pasted their decision and applied each of the regulations to each of their decisions and showed them how they accomplished this and how they were breaking their own rules and regulations. I told them the VA had no intention of my ever winning this claim. John, When I went to the internet and looked for the top 10 Forensic Psychiatric Experts in the United States and read Dr. Crowley's credentials. I knew he would read all the information I sent him and I sent him all the SOC, SSOC from the R.O and the AMC and the two C&P's. I did as you told me, I sent him everything. Military and Post Medical Records, Personnel Records, as Paul says, everything, but my kitchen stove. He immediately saw the same well planned out plot that I did. Always and Thanks, Betty Hi Betty At times, it was almost fun. My favorite quote was, "Is there anybody she will not call", I had to chuckle over that one, then I asked you for the same number, so I could pester them too. I even wrote a letter to President Bush, by the time the reply was received, I had already gotten the decision letter. Naaaaww Keep the stove, they are handy to have. Paul, It is just as well about the letter to President Bush. That darn first attorney or what ever he was took my letter to President Bush and twisted it and turned it around, until he had me saying things that I never said. I can honestly say without a doubt there is no one at the BVA or the AMC that does't know who I am. I guess that is why I am their " Special Case". They became afraid someone would get so sick of me that they would give me President Bush's private phone number just to get me out of their hair. As far as that stove, do you think maybe I can afford to pay for a cook? You So make me laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
