For a short time it seems to be raining Retro to some of us.

Great Job.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

Congrats Jim!

As far as the boat goes....I agree with we that a emergency fund is the most important thing first. But a boat ranks right up there. Look for a boat near the end of the summer, especially if it is as dry this year as it was last year. The price of gas is severely hurting boat prices, too. I picked up my boat last year, at the height of the drought, for $7,000...it is listed in Kelley Blue Book for $15,000. The deals are out there.

emorock,

I was rated at the R.O April 12, 2008 and received my retro check May 16, 2008 and this was for 16 years retro.

I did sign up for automatic deposit and my first monthly check will be at my bank this Friday the 30th.

I filled out the dependent papers for my husband to receive 11 years of retro and the service manager sent me an email he would start processing it and have a letter to me shortly.

Not long at all,

Always,

Betty

Hope this helps you.
