In reality, As a former Va employee who actually dealt with that area, The awards are budgeted and each department splits up the money and the employees get a share.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

Why would employee's get a share of money budgeted for Veterans? Wouldn't that be an incentive to low ball Veterans?

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

yup that's how it work according to a link i read here. There (VARO)are allocated money for claims and whats left over they get new computers, chair, and slice the pie for bonuses... That's why my last comment post here how come they don't fire everyone and where is the money coming from for the fines? They have lost all creditability at those VARO's and they are just the ones that got caught. I always thought these kinda things happen here and there and sometimes but it sound more like it running rampid if they can't deny you out right they shred what does connect you and that scares the crap out of me.....................

Shreddergate as it is now being called brings to my mind not only the shredding of documents, but the shredding of our lives. By the time folks reach HadIt.com they usually have been in the VA system for sometime and i believe they know what i mean, your dignity has been shredded, your emotional health and perhaps even your relationships, shredded also, it is no wonder they have taken to shredding our documents, they may be bits of paper to them, but to us they are lives, lives possibly in an almost unbearable limbo. they are our lives and the lives of our brothers and sisters.

I am writing my memoirs and would love it if you could help a shipmate out and look at it.

I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life.

The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans.

Tbird this is a very good analogy, the shredding just don't stop at the shredder it reaches into our lives and continues its damage and the damage is so bad it is "Titanic" your claim sinks and you never make it to the other side and you are doomed to limbo and lie on the bottom...........
