Stress Reduction With No Ill Effects

Thought everyone would like to see a couple of photos of my idea of Stess Reduction. LoL This is Tammi, she is about 12 weeks old now, I wish she would stop growing and keeps up with her kitten ways. When I feel down in the dumps, all I have to do is watch her playing by herself or when I play with her. All I have to do is remember and watch out for her teeth and claws, they are sharp like a razors edge. NO I won't filem down or cut them off, She will be raised as an indoor/outdoor cat. The only thing we might agree on is that she will be fixed, so no unexpected kittens, although I wouldn't mind have at least one litter from Tammi and Tom, but I can't afford to feed a house full of cats, nor would I relish the job of looking for homes for them, it would be like giving up my own children. LoL :P

Two weeks ago, I would have told you she was a brown mixed breed Tabby with at least some Siamese in her blood line, but now I am not so sure she is going to retain the unusual brown in her Tabby color. Her much older and bigger step brother is a silver Tabbi and gets more silvery as he gets older.

I hope the photos come out OK, at least the AVATAR photo came out ok, but it's a bit to small to get a good idea of her markings.

Felines and canines are fine, but loose reptiles and rodents are targets.(*exception, kids caged hamsters or guinea pigs) - like slingshots if I'm far enough away, knock 'em senseless and/or dead.

Cats control the snake population.

Only problem is:

Cats bring their "kill" to you for your "approval". If you are not physically present (say if it's "after office hours" and you are snug in bed and the cats' are outside doing their thing, they STILL bring their "kill" home for your approval............this can, at times, make for some interesting reactions when you open the door to exit your abode). The most shocking was that 3' long copperhead. Now, as many of you know, cats will go for the brain-stem of their prey, not NECESSARILY KILLING THE PREY, only rendering it somewhat paralyzed, as was the case of the copperhead, which kept trying to strike back, mouth snapping open and closed. Which can cause funny things to happen in the half-light of an early dawn when you STEP ON THE DAMNED THING!

nice kitty, dumb kitty, but nice kitty (DAMN CAT!, ANYWAY!, SHEESH!), just glad it wasn't The WIFE that exited prior to meself! :P

Down in the bayou country they have those giant aquatic rodents, nutria I think they are called. The swamp people eat them and why not? I think the big snakes need really warm temps year round. We have walking catfish in Florida. This used to be a nice place to live when I was a kid. We have coyotes in the county here in central Florida. I know that is no big deal in Texas but it is a big deal in Florida. The natural predators have been wiped out (bobcats and panthers). The alligator is the main predator and there are about 1,000,000 of them in Fla.

beautiful cats and kitties

i have a little pug dog and two cats now, they make me laugh and they are full of love for me. actually my pug is full of love for most folks, and if you have food, she's your best buddy :)
