Medical Discharge For Unknown Reason

Here's a real puzzler: Medically discharged from active duty back into the reserves for 6 months. Oddly, the military doctor indicated no reason for the medical discharge in medical notes.

Anyone ever come across something like this?

What can be done about it?

#2. If this is all the information that you have........then the answer would "nothing".

The reason for discharge would be in the personnel file; not necessarily the medical file.

Also there are codes at the bottom of your DD214 for re-enlistment purposes.

Sounds absurd. There has to be some reason why the military believes you are medically unfit for active duty.

Purple's answer is absolutely correct. If I'd spent a couple of days thinking about it, I might have come up with her answer.............maybe....if I wuz lucky.

Once upon a time, I saw the codes broken down, somewhere?

Personnel file is available through the NARA St. Louis, so's the DD214.
