Question

Hi All,
Just received the rating of 70% PTSD, 10% hearing loss and 10% tinnitus, today received the white envelope with the retro!! Next thing I know I get a Federal Express Envelope from my local VAMC and a letter in the mail from the VARO today. They have a C&P scheduled for me on April 30th for TBI at my local VAMC and the VARO wants information regarding my claim for TBI. I never filed a claim for TBI however when I had the C&P for the PTSD the examiner noted that I had a TBI in November 1964 and was put on light duty for 4 months but recovered and went on to serve in Vietnam. I called my DAV Service Officer and he told me to go to the C&P so I don't mess up my PTSD rating. What gives with all of this??? It's like the VA wants me to file another claim for TBI or are they trying to see if a TBI is responsible for my PTSD symptoms and re-rate me?? I don't trust them at all. I need advise on this please!!
Edited by pigdriverThe person who has nothing for which they are willing to fight,
nothing which is more important than they're own personal safety,
is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free,
unless made and kept so by the exertions of better persons
than himself.
