Qtc P&c Exam

All my C&P exams have been with QTC, and when I ask for a copy of the report, they always tell me that I will need to get it from the VA RO. That, I understand. But, I have read on other post that you can get copies of the exam through your local VA hospital, or is this for people that had the exam done at a VA facility?

Yes - when the C&P is done at a VAMC.

MY ptsd exam was done by qtc on 3-3-11.I requested a copy on 3-14-11 through iris. i received it on 3-28-11.it was set up by charleston,sc ro.

Regardless of who does the exam, is should eventually end up in your computerized medical record. A VA clinic or VAMC has access, and can print a copy.

(Getting them to do so at a VAMC is sometimes problematic.)

It still amazes me that we can get copies of C & P reports. Or any copies of any VAMC reports. I remember the little locked green bag days.

Even though it appears to be difficult at times, I am glad that we are now able to get copies.
