Question

I need help, I am at %70 and I recently filed for another claim in March 2010. I have not received one update.

I have also sent the VA medical records because my back has gottone worse with a buldging disk and pain down right leg that is getting worse.

I have tried DAV ans VO, I can't get no response.

E-benefits states development state since mar 2010.

I would like to know is there anything i can do.

Thanks

Kevin

Have you tried the IRIS "contact Us" system at the main VA web site?

Have you moved since filing the claim?

By now you should have received some acknowledgement from the VA and a VCAA letter.

Write them a letter and tell them that you plan to file a Writ of Mandamus if you do not hear back in 30 days. Its the first step anyway.

You should have received a VCAA Duty to Assist letter at the very least. You need to go in to your local DAV National Service office during the walk-in hours and wait to speak to a NSO.

I agree you should walk in and have an inquiry done via your VSO.

what about fixing the bulging disc?

I have had surgery to remove bulging disc 20 years ago,, that leg pain is very hard to deal with.. but the VA claims people won't help with the pain... they only inflict more pain..

Not in appeals, since I got 100%, and some of it was winning an 1151 negligence, which the VA turns out does not give ful benefits if you win 1151 negligence they squirm and legal loophhole you and your family out of many benefits, really crapp nasty bunch running the va benefits, they wil backstab and scre wyou even if you win you lose.
