A Question For Berta About Tdiu

Question

Berta,

Good afternoon, hope that your day is going well. I saw a previous reply that you had left on a post regarding TDIU. I was originally found to be at 90% after my retirement in May 2010. I have since then had a spinal fusion because of the degenerative arthritis, SC. I have not been able to work since my retirement, and in addition I was found disabled by Social Security. At no time was I made aware of TDIU, and I have verified that with the information that I received from my original claim. I am now in the Preparation for Decision phase since my surgery, and I have applied for TDIU. My question is, if granted, would they establish eligibility on the date of my request or when I was awarded 90%?

Carlie,

Thank you, I was not aware, and would not have done so if I knew. Can it be removed? I certainly do not want to cause a problem. I had seen where she had replied to a TDIU question earlier. I did not want to intrude on that person's question.
