HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted January 1, 2014 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 1, 2014 IceturkeeI pretty much agree with Phil. I would send in the employment questionnaire certified mail/return receipt. If the VA is going to reduce you they have to send you a letter proposing it with your appeal rights. Make very sure the VA has your correct mailing address. Once you send the questionnaire back to the VA it takes them weeks to get it into the record here in St. Petersburg RO. I called yesterday about the questionnaire I sent them. They have not gotten it in the record yet. Like I say the VA has not sent me the questionnaire in about ten years, but I send it to them after I download it. Both of us are about 64 so what do they expect us to do. I am 90% SC with TDIU.John
JayBrown1
Well, what I found funny is that I was first awarded TDIU then in 2012 I received a letter stating that one of my disability ratings increased to 60%. About a month later I got a packet from the VA saying that I my combine rating is at 100% T&P and in the packet was pamphlets and other things of what I am entitled to under this rating. Even on ebenefits it showed my combined rating at 100%. However, I still received the letter about employment status 3 times in 2012. Should I still be receiving this letter if I am 100%T&P and no future exam?
Navy04
Yeah, From my experience if they want the same form 10 times, send it. I would rather fill out a bunch of forms, then let the Dang Govt take our money away. iceturkee
sorry, i still don't understand this. last time i checked my mail was friday and there was no letter from the va informing me of a reduction. but i find out monday, it already happened. can the va legally do that, reduce you and then send a letter? my address is correct in their system. it had to have just happened because my january check was at 100 percent. the letter is immaterial if you are rated 100% P/T with no schedule future exams
