0 BakerGeckos
Effective 9/4/14 10/1/14 first payment 11/1, 12/14 and 1/1/15 so three months back pay is what I would expect..

0 HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted January 12, 2015 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 12, 2015 Here is how it is supposed to work. The date the condition arose to its current severity would be the effective date. If you filed a claim 4 months ago but was diagnosed as worse a year earlier then the effective date should be the date an increase was proven. Benefits would be paid from the first day of the month after your condition worsened and it was medically proven. K A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect. A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served. Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
0 HadIt.com Elder Philip Rogers Posted January 12, 2015 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 12, 2015 bojack - jbasser got it right, as usual!! BakerGeckos gave you the estimated minimum amount you should receive. Since it's for an increase they can go back to when they can see it worsened. When was the original "0%" award dated??? It may be possible to have them go back to the original claim date. If they gave you 50% now, it appears to me they screwed you on the "0%" award. Don't get me wrong, a "0%" is a good win, because it establishes service-connection(SC), something that can be hard to prove/win, sometimes. jmo pr
