ptsd What's The Turn Around Time For A C & P Exam

I had my c & p exam on 8 July 2015. I was wondering what the average turn around time for an exam to be completed ? This particular c & p was for PTSD secondary personal assault . It's been a week and still not complete. Is this normal they take so long to be completed ? Or is it mine might be a little more complex . Any advice would be appreciated .

Each case is different and each RO is different. I have had a decision (denial) within three days of completion of a C&P exam. Also, have waited several months for a decision after a C&P exam. You can check on ebenefits daily if you like but best to relax and enjoy life.

I'd say about 4 weeks, if you don't hear anything after that call IRIS.

although I had one C&P took 6 months to hear anything.

Just depends if they get off their Ass and work your claim.

If your exam was thru the VA then you should see it on MyHealthEVet notes in the next few days. If it was thru the VES or Civilian good luck bud. I have had a few exams that never even showed up. I actually had a Re Eval exam 2 months ago thru a VES Doc, and I still have not seen the exam notes, and the claim status has not moved either

Thanks for the info. Navy04 is was done by the VA here in Long Beach CA, but still nothing on MyHealthEVet. I guess I will just enjoy life and relax like toddt says
