0 USMC_VET
So basically now im a bit pissed off.So basically i had been told i dont have slepe apnea so i filed for fatigue and issues with my feet. the fatigue was under GW syndrome, however i was told i was being retested for sleep apnea, so i dropped the claim for fatigue until i can get that figured out.so why am i getting a C&P for GW syndrome when i dont have a claim in for it anymore?Also...I live on th eborder between two states. the closest outpatient clinic is in the other state not the one i live in. Can i transfer to a clinic that is in my state but 45 minutes away? will they pay travel expenses? I will continue that question in a new thread. 0 HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted September 25, 2015 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 25, 2015 Just Ignore the c&p managers statements they do this to piss us off! Keep asking your question until you get an honest & decent answer. As for as using a VA Facility You can use any VA Facility you choose if its closer or not. its up to you. everything should still be the same travel pay ect,,ect,,If I had to use my VAMC for a C&P I would request another VAMC...I had to have a DRO Hearing one time because of the C&P Examiner tried to blow my claim out of the water and told lies after lies& proposal to reduce. (This VA Examiner has a bad rep at my VAMC) NO Veteran likes him.) I got a specialist IME/IMO and he rebutt everything that VA Examiner mention in his report the DRO believed my specialist and stated the VA Examiner over step his authority and an increase is awarded rather than a proposal to reduce this veteran .Matter fact the DRO Ask me if I had to get another C&P would I be willing to go to a different VA Facility....I said Hell yes. ........Buck
0 Notorious Kelly
Sounds like English isn't their first language; I'm not sure what that meant. SemperFiSgt
0 USMC_VET
Sounds like English isn't their first language; I'm not sure what that meant.i had to reread it a couple times to get what he was saying. i asked what c&p exam this was specifically for. because you know, that would be really hard to put on the letter so that you can make sure you bring in the right evidence. what he said is 'In english....if you complain about it, we do an exam, its that kinda exam' unfortunately he doesnt understand english that well.could have just said, 'you made a claim for a GW illness, we have to a do an exam for that'but instead had to use the word "complain" and then point out that he was dummying it down for me....F*** a*****. anyways i know what he looks like now so i can stink eye him at my appointment. I will be transferring care asap and then requesting that all further claims and adjudications take place in my state. Then i will file a complaint with the RO and CC the OIG and Allison Hickey. Its not a huge thing, being an ass is not a crime nor is it abuse, however it is the kindof attitude that people have come to know and hate the VA for. Is your job tough? Yeah, but so is serving meals at a restaurant or pumping shitters, however in those jobs if you are an xxxxxxx to the people you "serve" you dont get the privilege of serving them long. 0 Sgt. Wilky
I have the same kind of appointment at a clinic in Golden, CO. I hope it goes well. The lady I spoke with seemed very nice about it, because I had the same kind of questions.
