Secure Message to Primary Care

I have been using secure message to my PC all the time but now

all my messages goes to a nurse or somebody and then they send me a reply

we will forward this to your PC doctor.

1) why would I use a secure message to my doctor just to have someone else read it??

2) this got to some law for this right???

3) a secure message should be between you and the doctor and if anyone else read it is this secure???

4) it got to be a law for this kind of crap isn't it ??? I just cant find it

I save appointments times or even going to see my PC because I order refill ,make appointments,

get hurt I would message doctor to order an xray just to keep from going to see him and then going at

xray been doing this for years until now the doctor never responds.

I stopped using the secure message feature when I started reading the correspondence in my myhealthyvet  notes.

All I know is that the VA clinic I use routes secure messaging to the Dr's Nurse. How, I don't know.

I'll usually get an answer from the nurse that it will be referred to the Dr.

Any answer is usually from the nurse, but on rare occasion, from the Dr.

I 'm raising hell about this now and then a lady in the director office says

she use secure message also and didn't think about this but I was right.

I think the Dr's Nurse is part of your healthcare team  so why worry?  VA Doc's just don't have time to do the messages.  so they ask there Nurse to!

I had to have my pain med's refilled  and my Dr Had my Nurse to  secure message me  to come in for a urine test  so I could get my refills  so I did  and I got my pain meds....if you start raising hell  they can sure make it hard on you  so be careful about that.
