Me too- I think Larry died-

Flip came back one day to hadit a few years ago- but never posted anything and I emailed him at the only email I had for him,  with no response.

I know he was dealing with  any AO disabilities  and also he got burned out here many times, because he had given his email addy to too many.

I dont think many here have their email addy open.

I sure dont- I was getting too many wannabees and threats.

I even had to report a 'widow' to the CAVC. She was not the spouse of the deceased veteran.

And also some great vets and widows willing to do what I suggested.

I just do not have the time those emails take these days- and besides the public forum helps many others out there, as we learn when guests finally join and thank us for the help they got as guests reading the forums

Roger that Ms berta  sorry to hear about Larry...I hope Flip is still kicking? I hated it to hear about Stretch too.

I think Flip wanted to travel see the world  and as for as I know he moved to Vermont.

last time I checked..which as been several years ago...Also I do think Flip was using an aka  AS'' Phillip Rogers'... But even Phillip has not been on hadit.

These guys were all great with claims and I'll remember then the rest of my life.

The email addy is option...members can hit the hide button if they don't want their email addy showing.

to the O.P.

Although I never had to use him  but I know a lot about him from here on hadit and listing to the Hadit podcast radio show program from Jbasser and jerrel cook puts on here usually on Thursday evenings.

Dr  Craig Bash...he has helped thousands of Veterans get there benefits by being through in his detail reports and also he has an attorney that helps too

but I heard a lot of good things about Dr David Anaise too!

both are great.

First off I have heard of all of these docs years before signing up for this sight, and should have "bit the bullet with paying for them" as well as "drop your VSO and lawyer up"  -- Vallette, Anaise, Bash, and Ellis. I have an IMO from Anaise since he is a transplant surgeon.

As Berta mentioned Bash is a neuro-radiologist. And is the most costly for that he is the most famous with the VA and veterans/Internet, and if you do most of the leg work, then forward it to him, the cost would be a lot smaller and in range of the ones mentioned above. Berta did that with Bash. As I did with Anasie then had him make it medically professionally sound with his stamp.

While Ellis is an internalist.

Vallette is for psych.

These 4 are the most well knowned here at Hadit. But I also mentioned previously that there are others out there that may be Vet friendly, just have to look and find them, and then report back in the IMO subsection of this forums.

Each one is a specialist in their field. So you want to go with the one that is closest to what you need. Which is why I went with Anaise, who is in my state, with one of my main disabilities. And currently sought local for some so that my work insurance pays for the doctor's paycheck, while I pay for the office visits, and built up some time with these locals. I paid 2k on a local Neuropsychologist for his exam, instead of having it done poorly at the VA, and this would later help with the Neurologist IMO.

That said the VA would be harder to deny these locals that actaully performed physical exams over couple years than a ten minute C&P exam by a quack that was the very bottom of their medical class and paid by the VA.

I found one MD whose a neurologist and his IME with Opinion is 3500. While another neurologist opinion would be 750 per hour so about 1.5k to 2.5k.

Just got quoted 10k from Bash a couple days ago.  He will do DBQs and a detailed nexus.  He said it was a flat fee so it included everything.  If I had 10k just lying around I'd probably do it.  He felt as though I could file a CUE; I had my doubts about that, posted a question about it and, just as I figured, will be a difficult thing to win.  He seemed confident that he could get me 100%.  Probably should be able to get it, but 10K is a lot to risk, especially since it would basically clean me out if I had to pull that kind of money together.  I'm exploring other options and going to give Valor4vets a try and hopefully get at least one other Nexus.  There is a Rheumatologist 2 hours from me that does IMOs/IMEs I'm going to look into.

Stay on hadit and get  much needed information &  remember Information is Knowledge  knowledge is Power

Educate yourself and learn to fight the VA.

There are options out there for IMO's IME's from different Dr's

Dr Bash is good but check around !!! Dr Ellis In Oklahoma City  I think  1500 for a couple of Nexus IMO/IME he is Veteran experienced.
