R3dneck
Here's what's the act is looking like so far for those who want to read through it. It still could change but I believe it's really close to final. https://www.congress.gov/congressional-record/2017/8/1/senate-section/article/S4674-
0 lfredrick123
Sounds like they are just moving furniture in a burning house. Changing symantics does nothing to solve problems.
0 R3dneck
I believe it will come down to how much money they receive in order to hire additional personnel to get things caught up to a more manageable level of appeals.

0 Scatback
Now that the Act was signed into law what are everyone's thoughts? I have been waiting for a DRO review at the Atlanta RO for 645 days so I am not sure if it will help me out at all.
0 63Charlie
Please explain how placing a deadline on veteran's presenting evidence during an appeal is a good thing. If the VBA is going to take that away from vets, they should let vets hire attorneys to begin with when filing disability claims to help even the playing field. Most veterans have very little knowledge on how to file an initial claim that is done properly that might succeed, so most end up denied. Just another bullet in the VBA's gun to deny vets, and this way the VBA can do it expeditiously. Am I misconstruing this?
