I selected The higher level review lane with a informal conference April 5. I checked Ebenefits yesterday and it says status: Pending Decision Approval. I'm happy that they are working on my Appeal but I'm confused how there has been a decision made and neither me or my lawyer received a call from The DRO. Has anyone else experienced this situation.. I'm not sure what to think.

A decision has not been made just yet  if  your status says Pending  Decision Approval ?

Keep checking your status updates daily...the decision can come anytime now.

That's a lot faster progress than I ever expected for an April 5 opt-in.......do keep us informed.   My HLR with a Informal Phone went in May 10.   I'm sure a phone call is still forthcoming coming especially with attorney as rep..

It sounds like you got quick movement from RAMP.  Congratulations!!!

If you are checking ebenefits, look at the AB8 letter.  While ebenefits is unreliable, the VA doesnt want Veterans with an official letter certifying they are 100 percent, unless they have been.

I opt'd into RAMP by invite on April 2, 2018 and officially in the HLR as of April 3, 2018.  It states on the letter that requesting an informal hearing may cause some delay in the processing of your HLR.

I just noticed on Ebennies last week that my RAMP HLR is under review and it shows the 4/3/18 date with an expected decision date range between mid July and early September.  The RAMP letter says an average of 125 days and my rep has had four decisions already come back for other Veterans he is working with.
