wnappster
After taking advice from others on this site I decided to wait and not file any more claims after receiving my 100% W/SMC Housebound. Since 2016 the VA sent me to an re-eval in Dec 2017 with civilian Dr. about 60 miles away, spent about an hour with her about my PTSD. She told me that everything would be OK with her findings and 5 weeks later I got the brown envelope showing I am now P&T. What a relief, thanks to everyone on the site that helped me. kanewnut and Kihr

Berta
That is GREAT News!!!!!! P & T has additional benefits for the dependents. I have a question for you- if you have dependents, did the VA advise you of CHAMPVA in the decision? When I got CHAMPVA many years ago ---it was a separate VA letter advising me to apply, as it was never mentioned in the award. But they did sent the Chapter 35 educational forms. Both CHAMPVA and Chapter 35 DEA are wonderful. VA paid for half of my degree from AMU. Enjoy this Victory!!!!!!!!!!!!
