  1. Thanks for the heads up Jamescripps2 i will be checking on that. And Thanks again to this forum. Roadrunner
  2. First of all i want to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone on this forum. Today i received the BWE it used to be known as the BBE. I learned i was granted 60% Service Connect for Prostrate Cancer and Loss of Use. But to Ms. Berta and many many others on here I owe it all to you. And remember NEVER EVER GIVE UP and keep on pushing. I did, Thanks again to all. Still fighting for 100. Roadrunner
  3. I can still hear my D.I.s and NCOIC saying be a man and HACK IT. Also to honor your commitment to the U.S. Armed Services. Now many years later, it all seems like a bunch of B.S. while I fight to get the benefits I am due and nothing more.
  4. just received my letter 2 days ago. been looking at the cover page writeup. cant say if its good or just another way for the man to stick it to you, and then say hell you signed up for it. and then you are SOL. some one chime in who knows what this is really all about. still sitting on the fence.
  5. check and find pictures of Udorn RTAFB, you'll see the same reddish looking dirt on and around the base flight line and perimeter. Really it was all over the base.
  6. Thumbs up. Great Christmas present. I know you'll have a Happy New Year now. Thanks to all who have served. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. Roadrunner.
  7. Navy04 you're right same old, same old. Stay tuned for next year. Thanks to all who have served. Roadrunner.
  8. News article in USA today titled VA shortcomings prolong vets. suffering. It's about Vets being misdiagnosed at the VA medical center in Oklahoma. Things that most of us already know about. But as my title says HERE WE GO AGAIN. Question, how many more will it take before they get their s--t together. Good information but sad reading. Thanks to all who have served. We deserve Better. Happy Holiday to all and god bless. Roadrunner.
  9. It makes you wonder how they can look you in the face. And say they are doing a great service for the Vets. Talking about two-faced. Thanks to all who serve.
  10. Found this on MSN.com Veterans Affairs pays 142 Million in bonuses amid scandals. Seems as if its still Business as Usual. Sorry to upset your Veterans Day. Thanks to all who have served.
  11. Happy Veterans Day to all who have served. Hang in there and continue to fight the good fight. Thanks to all for your service. Have a great one and remember all those who are not here.
  12. Thank you very much. My hooch was in that area that you have circled. Yeah I guess you could not miss the yellow sub on final. It sat on top of my duty section trailer. It was banned from the NCO club after a couple of incidents.
  13. Wow asknod I was at Udorn when they built those barns. I was in the 11th. T.R.S. photo processing trailer. My hooch was in the back row right on the fence line on the eastern side of the base, just about where the sappers came in. We called the food vendors Howard Johnson's in reference to the food vendors on the turnpike, I remember some of us buying fruit from them. They would hand it through the perimeter fence on long bamboo poles with basket at the end. Sorry to drift, but back to the matter at hand. I read your letter of support. You hit the nail on the head with it. If you don't mind I would like to copy it and give it to my VSO. But if you should object I'll understand, so please let me know. SaWaDee Kop. My friend Wendell lived on the first floor of one of those barns. He worked in the Airborne Command Center. The C-130 that flew at night. So many memories. Thanks for the information and have a great day.
  14. Thank you again bluenote. Still it's good to know that someone else is out there looking out for us Vets. Have a great day.
