Straddlin The Fence
Let's face it..The VA is adverserial against the claimant when it comes to compenstion. Yes they do fantastic in the Voc Rehab arena..and others..but when it comes to compensation..they are against the Veteran. Your either on the Veterans side or on the machines side. Hi all, noob here. My wife had terrbile knee problems from running while being on the weight management program while ADAF. She then was injured during a botched arthroscopic knee examination (they crushed the femoral nerve) resulting in her being medically seperated. She went to the VA and was awarded Voc Rehab benefits and shes due to graduate with a BBA this semester. The thing is though, she was medically booted because they crushed the femoral nerve during her surgery, the original knee problems were never addressed. So, here we are 4 years later and she's still having terrible knee pain. She has been seen by a civilian doctor who says she'll need knee …

Pearl Harbor
To all the Great Men and Women of World War II Thank you for being on watch for FREEDOM President Franklin D. Roosevelt: Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of American was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan. The United States was at peace with that nation, and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its government and its emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific. Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in the American island of Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered…

Post Determination?
I was told today by two AMC telephone answerers that the post determination team will send the POA a letter and my claims file with the rating decision. If he accept these terms, such as, the effective date, then we have no further recourse. What would he be talking about? I thought either they grant or deny a claim. A claim could be a partial or a full grant. They then would make a payment according the effective date and the combined percentage granted. Then it would be up to me to file an NOD and go on to court. What am I missing here? Thanks Happy Trails Paul
