Varo Form - 21-4138 (statement)
Do you have to use that VA Form (Statement in Support of Claim) VA Form 21-4138 in order to submit additional Med evidence? I am a bad typist and speller, but the only way to fill out that form (pdf version) is by long hand or type line by line and each line is kinda independent of each other line and it is difficult to cut and past as in word, because you can only cut and past one line at a time. The pdf format also does not allow you to save it or lend it self to normal MS Word functions. So, can I just submit a regular typed word docunment on regular white paper with out any letter head provided that I type in that sworn statement that is on VA 21-4138 and sign…

Medical Opinion Of Two Psychiatrist To Amc
My husband has the letter in his hand and the guy at records did not read it correctly. I am not sure, if I am on better standing ground, but it sounds better to me. This is the way it reads: Reviewed the C-file and Personnel Records, letter of Dr. B.Cxxxx and the 4 letters by Dr. Pxxx with the dates. It is the honest opionion of these two professional examiners that the etiology is the preponderance of the evidence is suggestive and appears the veterans anxiety may have preceded service. At least they have admitted that I had ANXIETY IN SERVICE. They have dropped the Personality Disorder also. They are still using the word " Appears" What do you th…

Could Some Onet Ell Me How To Change Dr @ The Va
My God almighty, this is the second time I had talked to her and I have never felt so degraded in my life. I get it, if I was paying for medical care I'd feel like I was talking to a professional. I swear I felt like I was having a pissing contest with a child, yes she is a Dr. all of 28 or 30 years old. I ask a simple question and she starts in on a rant. Then I made the mistake of asking her about my pain meds and there she went again out the window WOW!! I really can react fast to bull when I smell what she is selling, but I have to say she left me standing there completely speechless with the excrement (edited) that spewed out of her mouth, and I was completely nice a…

Does An Oig Investigation Really Mean Anything?
If the OIG agrees to an internal investigation into a VA matter, is that a good thing in getting a complaint the attention deserved, or will it likely be just government juking?

C&p Exam Without C File
Is there any recourse if the doctor who conducted your C&P exam does not have your C file at the exam and you are not satisfied with the VA's rating based on the exam that was conducted without the examining doctor having reviewed your C file?

Va Defination Of Combat Vet?
This is mainly just a curiosity of mine. As many of my fellow Vietnam vets knows, when we landed in the land of the devil back in the 60's quite a few of us served in support units. I served in Red Beach and as luck had it did not even make it to my duty station for over 4 weeks serving in Long Bein 99th Replacement doing guard duty,KP and the like. Anyhow once I did get sent up to my unit I did not work in my MOS due to there were already 3 position filled and one did not open for 4 months. During those 4 months I just sat around going to the PX, Beach and the USO. Yeah right! Actually I pulled perimeter patrol duty (so I could drink during the day) and when I wasn't doi…

Two C&p's
Had both C&Ps today. Had the one for my back this morning and the one for Pysch this afternoon. A DR. examined my back, took a complete history of injuries to back while in service, and also examed both legs and feet to see how the spinal damage is affecting nerves to legs and feet. The sent me unscheduled to get a new xray on my back to see if I am getting artheritis. Exam took just over two hours. Very good exam and I believe that she wrote down on the computer just exactly what I said with out any BS. I hope the rater does not screw things up. The pysch exam took almost two and a half hours. Dr. did this one to. Very good wrote down what I said and I know…

Stolen Laptop At Indy Va
I spoke to the associate director of the Indianapolis Va on the 15th of November. Mr. Mattice told me that the letters to the affected Veterans were going out that day. He also told me my name was not on the list to get a letter. That didn't give me much comfort and I waited to see if I got a letter. No letter came. On the 20th, I called Mr. Mattice back to verify that the letters had gone out. He was not avaliable and I spoke with his assitant Elaine. I asked if the letters to the Veteran's who's info was lost went out on the 15th. Her response to me was... "I don't think you have a need to know that." I explained that Mr. Mattice had told me on the 15th that t…
