tdiu C&p Exam When Permanent And Total?!?!?!?
I am currently rated 60% TDIU permanent and total. I received this rating in April 2006. I got a letter today for two C&P exams, one for each of my major disabilities. Is this normal? Should I be worried that they are going to take my rating away? I thought that when you were permanent and total, that you didn't have anymore C&P exams. I am really worried about this. Thanks for your help.

Status Of Claim
When you call or IRIS the VA on the status of your claim, they will give you every imaginable answer they can think of at that time. If you have a representative contact them, they will tell them something totally different from what they tell you. Example, my rep and I called on the same day, they told my rep that they had requested my file and the request is being process and to call back in 10 working days, when I called they told me that my claim was with the management team of the director's office because I had a congressional inquiry on my claim and it was being reviewed and to call my senator's office for the status of my claim. The representative that they talked…

Dmii -effective Date Confusion
I am totally confused about the effective date for AO DMII. Is the effective date for DMII persumptive to AO-the date the veteran files a claim for DMII? Or is the effective date the date that the VA knows and puts it in the chart notes that the veteran has DMII presumptive to AO? Jangrin

Newbie Here And Need Some Advice
Hi all, My name is Dave and I live in the hills of eastern Kentucky. I have a service connected rating of 10% on my left knee. When discharged, they called it Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome. When I received my award letter, the Va is calling it Ostearthritis of the left knee and awarded me 10%. To make this not too long of a story, I have finally settled back down in my home state of Ky. and went to the local VA clinic at the first of the year and got registered there. They scheduled me an appointment with a Dr. and I also saw the DAV rep. When I had my first visit with the Doc, he asked me to tell him everyhthing that was bothering me, which I did. Obviously my knee was on…

ptsd "two" Claims Pending-rated Together?
I have "two" claims pending. I opened up my file for a depresison/PTSD clam and the RO decided to evaulate all my sc conditions which I cam currently being paid. I already had the C&P for current conditions and I guess they've gone to RO for their finalization. Meantime, I am waiting to see what they are going to do with the depression/PTSD claim. Will they advise me of what they decided on the already sc conditions and then evaluate me for the dep/PTSD at a later date? I think they are behind the power curve on psychiatric evals due to all the troops coming back with problems so it may be a long while. The reason I'm asking this is of course I want to know and …
