Question Retired Va Records
I discovered the other day va retired my medical va records in 2000. I ask if my military records could be in them most likely. It had been several year I hadn't used va. american legion has my poa filed a nod for the evaluation on the seizures and the synovitis of the right knee on 06/30/89. soc issued on 10/03/89. she never formalized her appeal with a form-9. november 1990, she failed to report to a routine future exam and subsequently her award was terminated 05/91 she still seems to owe 8,490. in air force severance pay they have not yet recouped. during this time I moved around allot. Is there a way to find out where they have send my notice for these…

New And Material Evidence
This "new and material evidence" thing has been a thorn in my side and my case since the begining. For years this rule has invalidated almost every piece of evidence that i have submited. If my rep couldn't help me through this horrible rule then why did it take a federal judge to see that my whole case was mishandled and remanded back to ?. i don't even know who it was remanded back to. My current DAV rep keeps telling me to "do nothing". i think this is also horrible advice and up until now i have had no "advocates" to tell me if his advise is as bad as all of the rest of the advice i've gotten from reps over the years. i wanted to get an IMO from doctor BASH and …

Va Bwv Ao Deadline
The VA has already received a 15 day extension on their brief in opposition to Haas. Their deadline at the federal court is today-by 4-5 PM- This will have further impact on the Blue Water Navy Veterans who are in the moratorium and for all Blue Water vets with Agent Orange presumptive disabilities- I am saying a prayer that maybe VA will not even push their opposition to Haas any further! I wrote to the Sec the week he took office on this issue- and told him he could alter BWVs disparity in a heartbeat- I made a strong argument for my points to him and of course attached evidence- He ignored my email as to status of the letter-and Unfortunately my lette…

Queston On Rating Criteria Vike17, Berta All All Please Hlep
First, Happy independance Day USA! Rating Question for Feet: Ok, I have bilateral pes plantas (flat feet) 30%, bilateral hammer toes and bilateral Morton’s diease (bunions) which are rated 10% each left and right foot. From what I remember Vike17 saying, they don’t add 10% for hammer toes and 10% bunions due to the fact that they are on the same foot. So the max is 10% not 20% for those conditions. What about Metatarsalgia (pain on the ball of your feet) which the max is 10% and also weak feet max is 10 %. I have been diagnosed with those conditions as well. So would I get another 10% for pain in ball of feet and another 10% for weak feet or would t…

Vso And Disability Claims
I received my rating this week; the combine rating was 40%. 10% R knee 10% L knee 20% incontinence I also went and talked to an Amvet Rep. who told me that according to the records they reviewed they did not review any of my orthopedic medical record. I had 4 surgeries on my L knee and walk with a cane because of it. But they still rated it the same as the R knee. They state that knees were rate separately. About four things were rated 0%. So he is going to appeal the decision and add thing I left off. Will the VSO submit the appeals and the NOD?

Agent Orange Issue
Back in 1984 Veterans of Vietnam were compensated from the chemical companies who supplied agent orange. Most Vets did not know of their illness till much later in life. Does anyone know if there is another lawsuit with these companies to compensate the Vets that did not recieve anything? Does anyone know of a website that we can read about this or find out about this? My sister-in-law said she read something about a lawsuit but did not understand it and also did not save the article. She is not to good on the computer and did not think of saving it. JohnM's Wife Dianne

A Few Questions
Three things I filed for: 1) Hernia pain - Had surgery on a naval base, scar tissue casued pain - service connected 2) Personality disorder (Reason for discharge, Honorable) 3) Hernia Scar Granted: 1) Hernia scar - 10% My question is why was I denied a rating on my hernia pain - They even admitted it was service connected. They said I did wear a device, so they would not grant it (Something along those lines, I have lost the paperwork during a move - Any way for the VA to get me a copy of the rating review? And also, if they admit is service connected how could they give me 0% rating. It causes pain at work as well as at home. Also, I was denied on the personal…

hypertension Lvef 60%
Hi Everyone, As you know in topic filing for increase I stated the following: 13. Hypertensive Heart Disease - Secondary to Hypertension. This report was done on 5/18/05 but we cannot understand what they are saying about this even though they devoted a whole page to it. Would like to put this down for increase just in case. Also, they said on 5/26/05 that an Echo Report was sent to him and they state that patient is scheduled to RTC in 6M, whatever RTC means we don't know. In 4/20/2005 VA report states "EKG done: NS with occasional premature VEN Complex otherwise Normal EKG." His Hypertension medication (Losartan) states it is for both HBP/heart. Now VA Medic…

Retro Pay Or Back Pay
Is there any activity on retro pay, is folks getting this pay or is a dead issue? I was told my records were flagged for review, but have not heard a word. I requested a review by e mail and was told I had to put it writing which I did twice. I called the other day and was told no notes or anything on my records and they were send to holding area? I had many changes with my disability and had a lot of holding back pay on the books. Thanks
