Red Lead Paint Dust
Lead paint removal is know to be very harmfull to the human body. In 1978 it was banned from most all paints. While I was in the Army aboard LCU's LCM's, And the Azores aboard a 100 Ft. Ocean Going tug boat We were always chipping paint off the vessels surface. I was in the Army from 1970 to 1977. We chipped with hammers and large electric paint chippers. This created a red dust that would saturate your clouthing and every part of your body. We were issued the white paper face mask. Of course they have been obsolete for a long time. I would go home to my family and my ex wife would have to go Outside and shake the red dust off my clouthing before washing them. When I woul…

I had a questions about my exam today and I still don't have an answer and I figure I am leaving shortly and hopefully will get some input. Pete had mentioned to me to have them rate it with what they have and this was my response. If I ask them to rate is with what they have, what will become of the other secondary conditions I had submitted a few months ago and supposedly haven't gotten around to doing anything with it yet. I added the tmj, hypothyroidism, and tinnitus but I had already gotten the notice for the TDIU C&P before that. I haven't even gotten the letter for duty to assist for the t…

Steve Buyer (R-IN), Ranking Minority Member, invited Dr. Sally Satel to testify. Satel is the paid mouthpiece of the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank. Satel's disrespect for veterans with PTSD is a matter of legend. Buyer's "suck it up soldier" attitude is al…
