Veterans Benefit Manual, Pg 898, Sec 12.8.3, Double Dro Question
For all you guys that advised getting the Veterans Benefit Manual (VBM) - I need some help with it. On page 898, Section 12.8.3 it discusses "Double" DRO Review which is a question I've had (so thanks to those who suggested getting this resource) and while I am glad to see the answer is yes, you can get double DRO review, I can't locate the supporting documentation they use. The VBM cites in footnote 288 a "VA Compensation and Pension Service Conference Call, March 8, 2004 (Issue: Double DRO Review)" as the reference. I have been unable to find that in the VBM, the VA website, or on the web. Can anyone provide me with a link to this reference or tell me what pag…

Fwd: The Constitutional Guarantee Illusion
The Constitutional Guarantee Illusion http://www.2ndbattalion94thartillery.com/Chas/Illusions.htm Media Release May 17, 2007 Every segment of our society has a constitutional guarantee of the right to an attorney of law in a “fair and just” legal system. Within this guaranteed and just legal system, it matters not if one is Jewish, Muslim, Catholic, or Protestant or derivatives of all of them. This guarantee applies to all citizens/residents, even the ones that are illegal. There is …

Thinking Of Moving To Tennessee........
I know, I know, I'm posting this in the wrong section. I apologize. I couldn't find the "Socializing Section", where I guess I should have posted this question to. Anyway, my Son is entering the Master's Degree program at Middle Tennessee State University (Recording Arts). He is graduating in a couple weeks from University of Louisiana, Lafayette. I don't have anything holding me where I'm at, now (no job, etc.) and I've always loved Tennessee. Might as well just move on up to Tennessee and save some money.........he'll have to have somewhere to live and I can live anywhere so why not just get us a place up there (he has picked the lonnngest Masters program that I know …

They say in the denial that I failed to relate the arthritis condition to the service connected condition. How can I show them that it is connected? What concrete evidence are they looking for? Form 9 ?
When you receive form 9 do you have to fill it out and return it or can you continue to NOD the decisions you are getting at the local level.I have filled out form 9 before but that was 3 years ago it is still at the local level on another claim that I have going. I am told that it will take about 2 years before this claim goes to the BVA can't see filling out form 9 just so they can let it set in a corner for 2 or 3 years before they send it off so it can sit another year or so before it comes up for review before the board.
