  3. Wrong Date On Original Rating

    I was reviewing my original rating exam from '85 and they had a left ankle injury listed as Jul 22, 1985 (NSC) rather than the correct date of Aug 22, 1977. Is this significant? Evidently they got mixed up and failed to review accurately. I guess now I can reopen the ankle trauma more easily as sc?? I separated from the military in "85 and the trauma did not occur in '85 IT WAS '77! I guess the GS-4's were asleep at the switch.....

  4. Congressional Investigation

    First I must say that Hadit seems to be getting more sophisticated. Are we in the 21st century or what...Wow Anyway years ago, I submitted my medical case for investigation but wanted to find out whether others here on Hadit received such a letter. Also read the what worked well for you... In my case, what worked well was getting out of the Country to get antibiotics. Amazing to need to leave the US and go to Colombia for drugs when the white powder needed was only antibiotics... Now I live on a small farm here away from everything...     I had a MH exam and they say my depression is severe and secondary to back condition. I have filed a claim for depression in addition to my current claims. How is the rating done on this?

    Good Morning Everyone Now that John is 100% I can now help Emak with her Husband & Son. Son we have already in action Husband is another Story. And really need some help! Emak's husband is my Brother and I am affraid we are going to lose him sooner than we want. Leroy was in the Army for 9 yrs.   9. Spinal Cord Injury

    A soldier was shot in the neck by another soldier which left him paralized from the neck down, except for the use of one arm. Question: Would he be rated at 100%, if not, who should the family turn to ensure that he gets 100%? He is currently at a center in Richmond Va. but only for 6-8 months. Also, he is still receiving his active pay, but the family is worried that after he is discharged that he will not receive disability compensation (service connected). Is there anything they can do?   10. Recent Appeal Cavc For Eed

Unl;ike the prior CUE claim- this vet right from the git go- fought for better EED.   12. Just Finished Talking To Amc And They Say I'm "in Post"?

    They (Fred, actually) said that I'd been rated and now I was "in Post". Does this mean that my claim has gone to the Post Determination team or something like that? It seems to me that I've heard that phrase "Post Determination Team" on here, before, but I don't really know what it is that they do? Do y'all know? And, is this good news? I think maybe it is.....?

CAVC denied stating the SSA records had been considered - apparently the SSA award included other NSC disabilties???     Post a clear title like

    ‘Need help preparing PTSD claim’ or “VA med center won’t schedule my surgery” instead of  ‘I have a question."

    This gives members a starting point to ask clarifying questions like “Can you post the Reasons for Denial of your claim?”
