ptsd Claim From 1968
I am interested in hearing everyones opinion on the possibility of submitting a claim for retro pay for a gunshot injury during combat in 1968. The veteran was treated by the VA since discharge for the injury, but never filed a claim for compensation until about 2 years ago. This was a serious injury, but the Veteran was unaware that he could even file, though he had been in the VA medical system since 1969 or so. The VA has readily admitted service connection (even though the lowballed the rating of course) and a NOD is ongoing for all the ratings, PTSD etc., but the initial gunshot wound and the 2 purple hearts for injuries sustained during that action (also along wi…

ptsd Very Important!
Everyone always preaches about making copies of everything and here is a perfect example why. In my letter with my VCAA form regarding my claim for tinnitus it states they have received my evidence from a shrink I am in treatment for, for PTSD. That was sent at a different time regarding my appeal for IU. It has nothing to do with tinnitus. All the stuff I sent for tinnitus isn`t even mentioned. So now I will make copies of my copies regarding my appeal and new claims and drive to the RO and try to explain it to some dumbass as he/she watches the clock counting the seconds until lunch. Might also be a lesson here to let your appeal be decided before you blow their m…

Open Claim
http://www.va.gov/vetapp06/files2/0609885.txt By decision dated April, 2006 : "As noted previously, the veteran filed a claim for pension that was received on August 25, 1969 citing hearing loss as a disability. A claim for compensation may be considered to be a claim for pension and a claim for pension may be considered to be a claim for compensation. 38 U.S.C.A. § 5101(a); 38 C.F.R. § 3.151(a) (2005). Therefore, for the purposes of this appeal, it may be found that a claim to reopen service connection for hearing loss was first received after the 1967 Board decision on August 25, 1969. The Board thus finds that the award of service connecti…

ptsd Veterans In Business
It is my opinion that 3/4 of Veterans, who are in business, operate alone because of their uncompensated PTSD, until they collapse. Corporations, such as Boeing, have discontinued parts orders. These large Corporations have decided to order large multi-components elements so that Veterans cannot compete for parts contracts. Then Boeing, places insurmountable requirements on these Veterans business. Boeing inspection Persons, will contract to set a Veteran up with ISO 9002 for a large fee, but they will not guarantee that you will pass Boeing's Audit. More bucks required here. Duke Cunningham, helped Boeing to defeat California Veterans in business. In the…

Menier's Syndrome To Include Tennitus And Vertigo
Good Morning Everyone: It's been a nice week for Democrate's and hopefully Veteran's: Yesterday we recieved the little white envelope from DVA about Menier's Syndrome, We filled form 6205 a month or so ago, he had his C&P for hearing Oct. 13th and she stated that his hearing loss was not due to service connection, ( which was totaly off the wall, cause it stated on his discharge papers) Anyways How will that play out on the claim for meniere's? We have not recieved a rating as of yet, and when we do we will file NOD for hearing. I guess with her saying not service connected will this then wipe out the menier's claim. There is no other reason for his vertigo, and…
