Backpain question
I am confused... I have a complaint of backpain on my exit physicial. I stated that I had a serious back spasm for about a week in medical record .... I continue to have back pain so I filed a claim. Recently I had a C&P for lower back pain and spasm. Can this service connect? This Veteran describes a clinical picture of occasional lumbar muscle spasm/strain, with no objective evidence that is had its onset in service. However, his X-rays show diffuse degenerative spondylosis which could be triggering the spasms. The radiologic abnormalities may be nothing more than simple wear and tear of the spine, but the likelihood is that the process began more th…

Psoriasis Decrease rating??
Hello everyone! this is my first post on this site, but I have been stalking it for a while now. I have a question that maybe someone can address. I'll try and make it short and sweet.... I received my SC disability for psoriasis 30% in 2009. At the time I was only on topicals that did nothing for me... For the last 2 years I have been on Humira which has been a blessing! I just received a phone call from a rep stating that I was coming up for an exam on my psoriasis... I told them I was on auto-immune suppressants, so of course my skin is clearer.. She stated that would drop my rating.....?? My issue is this... if they take away my 30% for my pso…

should I be happy with what I received and leave well enough alone?
I was ordered to go for a C and P exam in February for depression/anxiety/panic attacks with right arm/body tremor. The C and P went really well and the doc was the supervisor of the psychologists so his word should be taken well. I have not received an out come to this C and P yet. I currently have 50% for that and enough from other disabilities to add up to 70% and they pay me at 100%. But, I am not totally disabled in their eyes. Question: I just recently started a heart med and nitroglycerin for my heart...I am rated at Zero for my heart. Should I put in for this even though I am already being paid 100%? Question: MY right arm shakes a…

Bilateral plantar fascitis
Hi guys got a good one for you. I am awaiting my C&P for Bilateral plantar fasciitis any day now I hope. Estimated time till claim completion is 4-1-16 to 06-15-16. I have this well documented in my military medical records while in the service and I am currently going to the VA hospital and getting treatment for this. Two weeks ago I had shots in both feet and I have another issue with my toe that required 3 shots in the joint today and going back to decided on surgery for a bone spur surgery and they are talking about fusing the toe. So since I have this mysterious toe issue that both of the podiatrists are scratching their heads about I don't know how I could add …

ptsd C&P ESTIMATE my RATING
I just had my C&P test last week. I got this from NOTES. This is the final message written by the psy doctor. Can someone please help me out on my estimate rating. The Veteran meets DSM-5 criteria for a diagnosis of mild PTSD (chronic, mild symptoms related to combat exposure in Iraq). His symptoms currently cause marked distress and mild impairment in social functioning (due primarily to irritability, anger, reactivity, diminished interest and pleasure, and hypervigilance). No significant occupational impairment due to his symptoms currently. NOTE:

C&P for Bilateral plantar fascitis
Hey guys got an update. Got the call today to do my C&P at the VA hospital by Orthopedics. Does this sound like it is the right people to do this exam?? I have heard horror storied about having your exam done by VA doctors because they are not as inclined to help you with your claim. Is there any truth to this? Needless to say I am worried but relieved. Hoping for that 50% for the feet. Let me know your thoughts. God Bless and thank you!!!

Is the past considered?
Hello all! I'm in the process of a claim for blood disorders. I'm actually in PFN stage as of yesterday so I've been a little bit nervous! The rating criteria state that if my levels are between 30-70, the rating will be 70% and if levels are between 70-100, the rating will be 30%. Over the past 2 years, my levels fell anywhere between 30-100, and over the past 6 months, my levels were under 70. My question is, will the VA take past levels into consideration or will my rating be based off of what my levels were at the time I had blood tests during my C&P exam?

Comp & Pen Doctor Switcharo
Just curious to see if anyone has had this before. Had a C&P for an increase. The doctor I saw and the one that submitted the C&P paperwork are two different docs. The one I saw was female and the one that did my paper work in my c file is a male. What do you all think I should do about this? I'm concerned because the guy writing the paperwork never saw me or examined me. I feel this is highly unethical.
