tdiu TDIU then 100% Scheduler
Question's I was turned down for TDIU and talked with DAV and he said get my letter from Social Security stating i can not work and the he would ask for a reconsideration, i did not have SS letter at the time i filed TDIU he said i would 99% be granted TDIU. However i have appeals in that looks as if i will become 100% scheduler anyway but by reading allot of statements from VET'S getting reduced after several years i think it would be better for me to go ahead and submit the Reconsideration for TDIU because if Social Security states i can not work due to my service connected injuries i doubt the VA would ever try and remove TDIU but with Scheduler if they think…

He avoids crowds, is easily distracted in working environment and difficulty with conflict and stress. Has been unable to hold down jobs. Currently on temporary leave in an effort to get needed treatment initiated. Wrote letter stating that he continues to be unable to work. His PTSD is directly related to his time in the s…

tdiu Doctors support letter
As to the strength of the support letter, on proper VA MHC letterhead, and the signature of a 30+ year VA psychiatrist, what do you guys think? How strong will that play a role in getting TDIU? I have submitted my 8940, but all three previous employers were unreachable, or non-responsive in regards to the other forms. Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks for all the support, Broncovet, Vync, Buck, and others. You guys have been awesome!

tdiu TDIU Claim Related - Doctor suddenly "unavailable", or will not return phone calls.
I'll try to keep this short and to the point. I have two other posts, on here in the TDIU section, wherein I stated my VA doctor had agreed to write a letter for me. This is what she actually wrote, and is taken directly from my notes within BlueButton in MyHealtheVet: The authorization was signed and delivered to her over 4 weeks ago. Release of Information has been very communicative with me, and has politely informed me that they have never received the letter. Worse than this, the doctor is now obviously avoiding contact with me. The last response she sent to me via secure messaging, was over 3 weeks ago, despite me messaging her once the following…

Way Too Comfortable For Nothing
If I had two VA doctors opine in 2003 that I was permanently and totally disabled and unable to sustain gainful employment should my IU be applied from that date. I was not given an c&p exam until years later, I was not given service connection until 2010 for my coronary artery disease rated at only 30%. I have gone from 30 to 60 to 90, and recently learned that I was awarded IU by BVA. I am waiting on the letter to arrive in the mail. I posted elsewhere in this thread that I got that info from DAV Washington D.C. If I don't get that date what should I do?

hearing loss Viet Vet marine here.
I am currently rated as being 60% disabled, a combination of tinniutus and hearing loss, from the Artilllery, you see! :-) I have documentation of depression and want to pursue an increase in my compensation, but I am leery of VA downgrades, etc. I am 73 and draw retirement SS. Thanks for any help. Semper Fi!

tdiu 21-4140 -- Did VA Get It?
I submitted a 21-4140 in January via mail and fax as a "routine" new year ritual. However, today I got a new one. I'm wondering if they only take these when THEY ask for them, if it just didn't get there or what. Is it safe to fax this document to the VA or should it be sent certified mail... or both? ALSO WONDERING... Does a veteran on TDIU P&T submit one of these every year for life? I'm turning 64 this year and I have not problem with the requirement to submit the form. Just thinking (hopefully, far) ahead to when I can't do such things anymore.

tdiu Nothing IN STONE!!!!!!
Hello everyone just a quick update on my status as of today via the DAV Washington d.c. I was told that the judge granted tdiu for my claim. What I was told was that she denied all the other stuff I had such as pacemaker implant, foot surgery right foot temp. total for convalescence for foot surgery. I am baffled as to why she denied those claims yet gave me tdiu. I have not received the official letter yet so I do not know how far back she is going with the tdiu. I did put in for tdiu years ago and had been given total permanent for pension for heart disease, which was not because I was under employed, but because I was declared disabled by the VA. I did state to that t…

IU or Scheduler
I am presently 30% Cervical, 40% Lumbar, 70% MH, 30% Headaches/Migraine I applied for IU and got copies of my C&P Exams and they flat out change my ratings to 60% Cervical, 40% Lumbar, 70% MH 50% Headaches/Migraines that puts me at 0ver 96% on the Calculator not to mention Examiner states i have Radicolpathy in all 4 extremities which would be an additional 10%,10%,10%,10%. My question is if i applied for IU and now according to C&P exams i am 100% scheduler will they give me the Scheduler automatically or will they just keep me at the IU because thats what i applied for??
