Here it is- Please ask your Senators and Congressmen and women to support this! I attached the Flyer from Kurt and the proposed modification of the AO Equity Act. Many many veterans and advocates worked hard on this entire matter- John Rossie is the President of Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Association and Kurt Priessman is the recently awarded AO Thailand vet who proved (and got VA to concede) the usage of AO at many US installations in Thailand. For less than $1.50 you can send copies of the modification and a short personal letter asking for support to your Reps in the Senate and COngress by regular mail. Blue Water Ao No Foots In Country Vets!
Haas V. Nicholson has not been published yet at the CAVC web site. Under Order of May 24, 2005 this case has been assigned to a panel of the Court for issuance of a precedential opinion! This might well resolve something that we all want- I have certainly done what I could re: griping to VA to change these unfair regs- they are unconscionably unfair to Blue Water AO vets. Many veterans and many (probably all of them)vet orgs have griped.Individuals have griped -even a young college student-I think she is child of a AO Blue Water vet griped -also many other non vets have taken issue with these regs by writing to the VA and anyone who would listen.
