New Blue Water Vet & Ao
Hi all! Been browsing the site for some time, and finally joined today. I have scoured all the posts looking for answers pertaining to my question, and didn't find what I was looking for. If I have overlooked something, please be gentle with me. I received my CAR on Sept. 1972 in Nam. My DD214 has it, but no VSM (received it on ship). I have sent for a 215 a week ago. Anyhow, the VA denied my SC saying I was Vietnam Era. Have prostate cancer, a tumor in my right femur (they have been trying to get a biopsie, but the prostate surgery keeps pushing it back), and a few others that are on the presumptive list. I filed a NOD with my VSO, and he stated I didn't have …

Desertion By Hadit!
I sincerely hope that no one takes offense at the topic title; I will not try to talk for all AO veterans but for myself alone. The government, Veterans Administration, and now Hadit! have all relagated AO veterans to the back page, no longer worthy to discuss.. Don't believe it? Look at for the "AO FORUM" on Hadit! It is at the bottom of the introductory scree on Hadit! H.R. Bill 6562 pertaning to allowing all AO veterans exposed to Agent Orange to HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO AGENT ORANE if they received the Vietnam Service Metal. This is the time to place the spolight on the AO problem not send it to the bottom of the page i.e. bury it like VA!

ptsd Ao Vet In Need Of Help
I met a AO Vet yesterday at the Docs office who was in for Chemo treatment, while talking to his wife I found out that he had been battling Non-Hodkins since 1989. His wife told me that the VA rated him 100% in 89 as a secondary to AO exposure but reduced him to 10% soon thereafter, and his 10% was for PTSD. She was told by the VA that he would only recive 100% while he was on chemo for the AO. The VA again granted him 100% in 1998 as his condition had worsened enough to warrant the increase , and this time it was P&T. The VA denied him a power chair as he would not go to the VAMC for treatment. THe VA is a far distance for them to travel, and their vehical i…

Partial Agent Orange Report:
Partial Agent Orange Report: Received a partial Agent Orange report from one our group today. Kind of an overall summary on Agent Orange, at least in part. http://www.2ndbattalion94thartillery.com/Chas/AgentOrangeReport.htm I think you will find the financial involvement by DoD in the National Academy of Science interesting and also shows a “direct conflict of interest.” If in fact, it is even close to the level of financial support indicated. Kelley As most of you know after returning from DC I was really ill. After those issues seemed to resolve I had new symptoms that arose that my doctor wanted me to see a specialist. Afte…

Ao Info From
"First - Alan tells me that Congressman Filner contacted one of their Parkinson's Group and indicated he will push to get the Parkinson's bill passed after Congress returns. Great News on that issue! Second - I think most of us already knew this...but reviewing the great Point Man Project early in our issue it was clear that the 9th Marine Regiment had significant higher residual values of the TCDD and all the other variants of herbicide than the other exposed comparison group. There are many confounding and contributing factors that can be attributed to this found fact. What does this mean overall? If you are us...it means that in some cases you would …
