hypertension Ao At Ascom Depot Korea
Hello Everyone. I’m new to the forums but not new to the problems with the VA and Agent Orange exposures associated to several health issues. I served in the Army from 1968 to 1976. In 2001 I filed a claim for numerous health issues to include heart disease I felt was due to exposure to AO while in Korea and Viet Nam and of course I got denied, so I gave up which I’m sure the VA really appreciated. I served in Korea from 1968 to 1970 at Ascom Depot, (Camp Market) with Company B, Supply and Transportation Division. Then a couple of months after I returned back to the states, I volunteered and went to Viet Nam with assignments at Saigon, Da Nang, Phu Bi, Chu Li and…

Got Letter
I appealed my Tonsil Cancer AO denial and just got a letter stating it was past the year, which I knew. They did say in the answer that even though it is past the one year allowed time to appeal that they are opening up the claim and will make a decision soon. This probably means nothing. Is this the norm? Cavman

Filing For Presumptive A.o.
Went to VA to sign up for the Agent Orange and was told since its only presumptive that the vets ( from Ft. McClellan) we cannot prove that they were exposed to any herbicides. My god it is all over the internet about the post and Anniston. This is another slap in the face for those exposed.

Agent Orange And Tonsil Cancer
Hi All: When I Googled this topic I found a current thread in these forums regarding VA claims for service-connected tonsil cancer due to in-country expoure to Agent Orange dioxin. After going to that thread via Google, I was unable to reply to any post because it said it was "read only," even though there were recent posts. I've not been able to find that thread via HadIt.com. I first began representing a Viet Nam vet for this claim when I was just a student in law school. It has taken nearly 16 years, that's right -- 16 years, and a successful appeal to the Court of Veterans Claims, but the veteran's widow and children have now established service connection fo…

hypertension Recognizing Neurotoxicity In Dod Herbicide Era Veterans 1962-1975
The following is from Kelly. I don't recall when it was sent to me. Recognizing Neurotoxicity in DOD Herbicide Era Veterans 1962-1975 As most of you know in my reviewing of studies on the herbicides I have pointed out that neurotoxicity within the Rainbow of herbicides seems to be overlooked or at least minimized in any effect on the DOD Herbicide Era Veterans 1962-1975, including the reasons for suicides. Studies have pointed this out, including Ranch Hand that these toxic chemicals do have a neuropsychological/neuropsychiatric connection. The EPA reassessment of dioxin states: (2) · The EPA has concluded that dioxin is more dangerous than prev…

Need To Read This Thailand Vets
The perimeter was heavily wired with trip-flares to assist in detecting i-ntruders. Unfortunately, there was no use of NODsdespite their availability. Additionally, most of the perimeter observation towers were unusually low and several were set back from the perimeter, thus hindering effective observation of parts of the perimeter lines. Also, in June 1972, the base began the construction of 8lmmmortar pits. ._- - Physical protection in the MMSarea had the potential of becoming highly effective.
