  1. Good question Mike I'm sure we shouldn't since there wouldn't be any decrease in the disease.
  2. Well you guys I should have my rating soon. I went from pending decision to decision approval in just four days. I'm nervous only because I think my psychiatrist screwed me making her own assumptions and documenting it without asking me about certain things. I'm hoping they really go by info I gave my c&p examiner and psychologist. Have my fingers crossed for a much needed increase and not a non increase or decrease. I will post update as soon as I get it.
  3. Yea I went there under benefits and it didn't say nothing but my rating name and that I'm a vet, nothing stating temp or P&T
  4. Ok I looked mad cannot find a date anywhere in my paperwork or anything saying I'm or am not P&T weird. I did see on the Front of the VA paperwork is had a box that says future exam date None. But then on the last page it asked for final remarks and it stated 6th review for depression. I guess this is where the request for increase came into play because I know I never requested an increase myself. Already had my C&P exam last month and am currently at the pending decision stage. Has anyone heard of any such thing happening?
  5. Good afternoon my fellow vets, Yet another question to be asked. How do you know if you received P&T or just Temp for your rating? Where exactly will it be located on your paperwork? I know that during my MEB process I got the Army's rating at 70% which said perm disability but nothing about P&T. Also when you are perm and total do you still have to have reviews every five years or so? As always I'm just a little confused by this whole retirement phase I'm in.
  6. From what I have seen on here if you meet all the requirements and be cause you are on SSDI gives you a chance.
  7. Should be a good thing. Did they ask you a number of questions?
  8. I know that there are a few VSO's do give their own assumption which isn't always the best way. I talked to a VSO and they advices me that I would probably stay at 80% as well. They never told me about SSDI my sister told me I should apply and I did that on my own. In stead of going the VSO route to put in a new claim I just called the 800 line and took that route.
  9. Oh I understand but will me reopening MDD that's already in the prep for discussion stage push me backwards?
  10. Also I am a bit confused I just tried to start my claim and it required me to reopen or open a new claim. I already have my claim reopened for MDD and new claims open for bipolar disorder cubical tunnel syndrome. Im so lost right now. Any advice?
  11. I shouldn't have to get my previous employer to sign anything because it was typhus army correct?
  12. I have six more that are at zero but service connected
  13. Oh ok 50% MDD, 30% migraine disorder, 30% asthma, 10 lumbar facet syndrome 10 % left hip flexor tendinitis, 10% chronic sinusitis, 10%planter fasciitis,
  14. I never got any paperwork telling me what disabilities they were awarding me or the percentages. I gave them the paperwork from the VA rating that I received when I got out of the army and that was it. They then sent me correspondence telling me what I was awarded each month and that was it, there was no breakdown of anything. Should I call them and have them send me something with that information on there?
  15. Hello my fellow vets...I have a question. I would like to apply for UI although I haven't had a job since I got out in 2013. I have been on interviews but my anxiety level and everything has always been against me during the interview process and I never get a call back. Will this be a issue for me not having employment since my medical retirement? I meet all other requirements and am currently on ssdi just need this clarified.
  16. http://www.vvaarizona.org/va_comp_calc.php this website can help
  17. 2858 if the dependent is under 18 if the dependent is over 18 and in school it will be 3114
  18. You can calculate it here http://www.vvaarizona.org/va_comp_calc.php
  19. To me it looks as though you might hit between 50 or 70% for your PTSD. Keloid my possibly be a 10%
  20. Whelp Navywife, Ebennies say that on my reopened claim is in prep for decision as of today. Seems like the ball is rolling kind of nervous right now though racking my brain praying I receive a increase and not a denial or reduction
  21. Whoa Aggie, That's crazy I just don't understand how the Va is so unorganized. The dependency claim is stupid as well I too have been waiting a year to have my daughter put on. I mean they should have categories/areas for example new claims they should have a number of people working on those, reopened and set of people working on those, and also a set for dependency oh and we can't forget a bigger group for those claims that are back logged. I think if this is done in each RO we would see results.
  22. Yes all are complete. That would be nice but I know it will prob be a wait now.
