This is nothing short of outrageous. We all need to forward the story to our elected officials and media outlets. I'm sending it to mine one of whom is on the Veterans Committee. All I can say is Bullshit!!!! Bill

I am taking Hydrocloro 25mg and Metropol 50mg and have not experienced those effects BUT I also take Oxycodone and have a Fentanyl patch 24/7 so I might not realize to dizziness. Bill

I applied for an incease in February 2007 and in July my VARO sent me a form for TDIU to fill out and return. I had a C&P in August and my claim was decided in September and I was awarded both the increase and TDIU P&T. I cant imagine having claims take years like I read on here daily. I must be lucky as I have had 5 claims since 1992 and have never waited over a year from start to finish. Bill

As for Arkansas. The DAV plates are available if one is 100% SC or TDIU. I got the form on this when I received my decision from the RO granting IU Bill

Billy....I just recently got TDIU and I qualified for Insurance and the VA pays the premium. You should get a letter with all the benefits you will now receive. Bill

I feel fortunate in that I have never waited over 12 months for a decision and I have had 4 since 1992. My initial claim was processed within 6 months (1992) First Increase was 8.5 months (1997) Another claim for increase 4 months from VARO and BVA was less than 2 years. My most recent was filed 2/07 and decided in 9/07 Bill
